RG3 Predicts the 'Skins will repeat as NFC East champs

LANDOVER, M.D-- RG3 is not one to pull any punches. He further proved that point after practice this Wednesday during a press conference at Redskins Park.

"There's no reason why we can't repeat as champs & pick up where we left off last year. My knee is 100%, the offense has jelled. We're getting Fred (Davis) back next week. It won't be easy, but even still we should win this thing."

Everyone from NFL personalities to fans on Twitter have weighed in on Robert Griffin III's comments. From "Yea it's possible" to "You're nuts". Thing's got even more intense when RG3 hopped on Twitter & said in caps "MARK MY WORDS, WE WILL WIN THE EAST".

Is he too far gone in the hype following his awesome performance against the Raiders? Well what you can't argue with is the fact that RG3 is in the top ten in passing yards right now. The team is 3-1 & will face a Cowboy's team next Sunday night reeling from a big loss to the Broncos. Only time will tell if his prophecy holds true.

TE Davis set to return against Dallas

ASHBURN, V.A-- Starting tight end Fred Davis will return to the line up this Sunday night against the Dallas Cowboys.

Davis suffered broken ribs during the 'Skins Week 1 win against the Eagles. He's had an injury plagued last two seasons since replacing Chris Cooley as starter. He missed most of last season with an Achilles injury.

'Skins re-sign Orakpo to 5yr, $33.5 M contract

ASHBURN, V.A-- Looks like the Redskins have locked down their best defensive player for the foreseeable future.

It was announced earlier today that outside linebacker Brian Orakpo has signed a new deal which is worth upwards of $33.5 million. Along with that comes a $4 million signing bonus.

Orakpo has been a consistent threat on defense & an excellent leader. He's second on the team with 3 sacks so far this year & his presence has made everyone else around him that much better. A key piece for the dynasty this team is trying to assemble will remain for years to come.
