Big Ben Concussed, Gradkowski Leads Comeback September 5, 2013
Pittsburgh PA
The Titans nearly pulled off an improbable victory in week one's game against Pittsburgh, but Jonathan Dwyer's eleven yard touchdown run with 2:00 minutes left in the game sealed an incredible comeback for the Steelers in their home opener.
Ben Roethlisberger suffered a concussion in the second quarter following a sack by Derrick Morgan in the end zone for a safety. The safety put the Titans up 12-7 and the ensuing drive ended in another score for Tennessee, putting them up 19-7 near halftime. Bruce Gradkowski and the Steeler offense would muster a field goal before halftime to cut the lead to nine.
In the third period both teams exchanged scores, the Steelers first to Antonio Brown [his second of the game] and Titans to Kendall Wright [his second as well], keeping the lead the same. Billy Cundiff would kick a field goal midway through the final quarter to make it a one score game. The Titans would move down the field on the ensuing possession, but miss out on points following a missed field goal by Rob Bironas. Dwyer's run would put the Steelers ahead for the first time since their 7-3 advantage in the first quarter. Jake Locker's final attempt to bring the Titans back would fall short following an interception on third and long.
OTHER NOTES | Locker would get up holding his shoulder following the interception. All indications are that he will be fine for week two. - Kenny Britt also left the game for a quarter following an ankle injury. He would return.

Titans Announce New Stadium September 8, 2013
Nashville TN
Titans owner Bud Adams announced today that the Titans have begun preparations for a new stadium in Nashville. LP Field, the Titans current home, has reportedly gotten slightly outdated and team officials, as well as city officials believe this is a great opportunity to build a state of the art stadium. The location of the stadium was not immediately known, but it is believed to b e in the same area as LP Field.
It was however, announced that the stadium would be a dome structure. "We've decided to go with a dome this time for the opportunity to one day, perhaps, secure a Super Bowl here in Nashville," said Adams in a press conference. Construction is slated to be complete prior to the 2014 Preseason.

Titans Miss Opportunity, Drop to 0-2 September 12, 2013
Houston TX
Down 28-23 late in the final quarter, the Titans were poised to upset their division rival Houston in their own building. Matt Schaub was sidelined wit ha shoulder injury and Jake Locker was having one of the best games of his short career. However, with just over two minutes left in the game, Locker's pass to Kenny Britt sailed over his head and directly into the hands of Texans' cornerback Brice McCain. The Titans would never see the ball again and fall to 0-2 on the season.
Despite the loss, there was a lot of positive thinking among the Titans organization. Houston, a preseason favorite to not only win the AFC South but also contend for a Super Bowl victory was held in check all game and nearly lost to the Titans. Jake Locker had his mistakes but threw for 382 yards in the loss. However, Chris Johnson would leave the game with a back injury and did not return. His status for week three's game against San Diego was in question.

Titans Take Home Opener in Dominating Fashion September 19, 2013
Nashville TN
Tennessee amassed an amazing 529 yards of total offense including 280 yards on the ground en route to a 49-13 victory over the San Diego Chargers. Philip Rivers was intercepted twice in the first half which resulted in two Titans touchdowns. Jake Locker threw for three touchdowns and added two more with his legs as the Titans won their first game of the season.
The scoring started early and often. The Titans opening possession lasted nearly four minutes and ended with a Kenny Britt touchdown. San Diego would fight back and get in the red zone only to settle for an Adam Vinatieri field goal. The Titans would battle back and on the next drive, Jake Locker would sneak in from a yard out to take a 14-3 lead with just 37 seconds left in the first quarter. In the second quarter, the Titans took over, rookie Blidi Wreh-Wilson intercepted Rivers early in the drive and that would lead to a 10-yard Chris Johnson touchdown run. Rivers would redeem himself with a 7-yard strike to Malcolm Floyd, keeping the Titans lead manageable. Three minutes later Tennessee scored again, with Johnson scoring from seven yards out. Rivers next drive would end quickly on a Jason McCourty interception that quickly led to a Delanie Walker 32-yard score and a halftime lead of 35-10.
The third quarter began with a Danny Woodhead fumble that resulted in Jake Locker's second rushing touchdown of the game. Locker would throw his final score to Kendall Wright late in the quarter giving the Titans the dominating advantage, 49-10. Multiple players including Chris Johnson [returning from a back injury] Kenny Britt and Nate Washington were pulled from the fourth quarter to rest.
It was also announced earlier this week that the Titans new stadium will be in fact, a dome.

Jets Nab First Win Despite Locker's 5 TDs September 26, 2013
Nashville TN
Jake Locker threw for five touchdowns including one to Delanie Walker with thirty-nine seconds left in the game, but couldn't seem to seal the victory. Down by two following the score, Locker and the Titans went for two. His pass would fall short on an attempt to Walker again and the Jets pulled off their first win of the season, 43-41.
Injuries were key throughout the game. Both Jets starting quarterback [Geno Smith] and running back [Mike Goodson] left the game with injuries and did not return. For the Titans, Nate Washington and Bernard Pollard left with injuries and Pollard is expected to miss extended time.
The loss drops the Titans to 1-3 on the season and fans are starting to wonder what needs to change in Nashville.

Thanks for following.
Ultimately, I'd like to have a legitimate starting quarterback by Year 3. I like my receiver core and offensive line while the linebacker core is young as well. Both the defensive line and the defensive back core are my struggle spots so I'll be looking to work on that ASAP.
Overall, I'd love to see playoffs by Year 3 and an AFC Championship game by Year 5.
