Houston, TX. -- The bright lights were on Monday night and J.J. Watt stepped up and put on a show. The reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year had his way with the Chargers and finished with 7 sacks in the Texans 27-19 win. Watt, who finished with 20.5 sacks last season, was able to get to Philip Rivers with ease. Constantly beating rookie D.J. Fluker and veterans Nick Hardwick and Chad Rinehart.

"I was just out there playing ball and having fun, just doing my job" said Watt after the game. Watt also led the Texans in tackles finishing with 9.

While the defense played great, the offense was good at times. Matt Schaub threw for 313 yards and 1 touchdown but he also had 4 interceptions. The int's were mostly on Schaub trying to force feed the long ball to Andre Johnson who finished with 8 catches for 9 yards ans 1 touchdown. "I have to play better if we expect to win a Super Bowl" said Schaub. I promise you i won't have another performance like that.

Arian Foster led all rushers with 151 yards and 2 touchdowns on 19 carriers.
