"Edsall Bowl II" goes to the Terrapins. Maryland handled UConn on the road to move to 3-0 on the season heading into their huge matchup with #14 West Virginia at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore. C.J. Brown tossed two touchdown passes early in the game to Stefon Diggs and Nigel King, securing a win. Stefon Diggs had another touchdown run, his 3rd in 3 games. Brandon Ross finished the day strong, with 94 rushing yards and a score. Albert Reid suffered a concussion in the game, and is expected back for the WVU game. Joe Riddle only received one carry, a 20 yarder.
The Terps-WVU game will take place at 8:00 PM and will be televised nationally.

Re: Fear the Turtle: A Maryland Terrapins Dynasty (NCAA Football 14)
Maryland Upsets #14 West Virginia, 38-7
Most people expected this to be a close game. Most people didn't expect a blowout. The Terps came ready to play for this big game, and moved to 4-0 on the season with a dominating win against rival West Virginia, who had just come off of a big win of their own against Oklahoma. The Terps defense wasn't impressed with QB Ford Childress, who was sacked 6 times and picked off 3 times.
The Terps offense wasn't great, but it did enough to win. C.J. Brown was very inconsistent, as he threw 3 touchdowns but 4 interceptions. He passed the ball a surprising 46 times, as many as Childress, who is in a pass-heavy system. But he completed 25 of those passes for 245 yards, his best passing display this season. He spread the ball around well, completing passes to 10 different players. TE Andrew Isaacs caught one pass that resulted in his first touchdown of his career. He is sure to have many more, as he is expected to start at TE next season.
The Terps have a bye week to prepare for Florida State in two weeks, a game that will be played in Tallahassee.
