Season 1
JACKSONVILLE UPSETS SAN FRANCISCO 24-17
JAGUARS FINALLY GET 1ST WIN OF THE SEASON

Week 8, 2013
SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS 17
JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS 24

The defense led the way for the Jaguars.

The 2008 Detroit Lions can put away the champagne and balloons as they will remain the only team in NFL history to go 0-16. The Jacksonville Jaguars pulled off the biggest upset of the 2013 season on Sunday with a shocking 24-17 win over the San Francisco 49ers.

The win was spearheaded by the Jags defense who held one of the most dangerous offenses in the league to a stunning 183 total offensive yard. The Jaguars were able to take down Colin Kaepernick at will sacking him 6 times and getting multiple hits on him. They also forced Kaepernick into throwing two interceptions in which one was returned 50 yards for a pick six my LB Russell Allen.

On the other side of the ball the Jacksonville didn't have any eye popping stats but they did have a balanced attack. Blaine Gabbert only threw the ball 19 times but he did manage the game well enough after throwing 3 early picks in the 1st quarter. Runningbacks Maurice Jones-Drew and Jeff Demps shared the work load out of the backfield combining for 131 yards and a touchdown.

Rookie Jonathan Cyprien led the defense with 9 tackles and 2 sacks. Fellow rookie Dwayne Gratz sealed the game with his interception with 1:20 seconds remaining.

TITANS PIMP SLAP JAGUARS 44-17
JAGS GET KNOCKED BACK DOWN TO EARTH

Week 10, 2013
JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS 17
TENNESSEE TITANS 41

Gabbert was rocked all game long.

Coming off a big win over a top team like the 49ers had the Jaguars on top of cloud nine. But that feeling quickly went away after the 44-17 beat down the Tennessee Titans gave them on Sunday afternoon.

The Titans got 2 defensive touchdowns from CB Alterraun Verner as he picked off Blaine Gabbert and Matt Scott and rtook bot interceptions back to the house. HB Chris Johnson gashed the jags defense for 124 yards and 2 more touchdowns in the victory.

The Jaguars just couldn't overcome all of the turnovers as they dropped to 1-8. Blaine Gabbert had another abysmal performance and was replaced once again by Matt Scott who also had a bad outing.
