The annual game between Oregon & Oregon State took place this week and much like every game it was one to pay attention to. The Ducks would fall behind the Beavers early as State would go into the half with a 20-14 lead.
But the Ducks would fight back putting up thirteen points in the second half and forcing the game into overtime. The Beavers would strike first in OT forcing Oregon to score and tie the game. On the next series Oregon would have to be forced into a field goal situation but they would come up short missing it wide left allowing the Beavers to come back and win the game by the final of 40-34.
The Oregon Ducks made it to the Pac 12 title game and they were taking on Arizona who beat them in Arizona earlier this season giving the Ducks there first loss of the year. the Ducks were out for revenge and the title while Arizona was looking for lightning to strike twice and take down the Ducks and take home the Pac 12 title.
The Ducks had a rocky start as Arizona's defense put a beating on Marcus Mariota forcing him into an early turnover but Arizona wasn't able to do much with it as both teams would go into the half tied at 10-10.
The Ducks came out in the second half and put on a show controlling the ball and the tempo of the game as they would put up two TD scores while Arizona would only get one and miss a two point conversion allowing the Ducks to walk away with the Pac 12 title by the final of 24-19.

After the game it was announced that Ohio State tailback Carlos Hyde won the Heisman trophy beating out Marcus Mariota who would finish in second place.
The Oregon Ducks made it to the Rose Bowl and were looking to make a statement. The Notre Dame Fighting Irish were looking to do the same as well and as the game started it looked like the Irish were going to be the ones in the driver's seat taking a 10-7 lead.
But that's when things changed as Oregon's offense started clicking running the ball all over the Irish as the Ducks amassed 315 yards on the ground racking up a total of 459 yards in offense to Notre Dame's 278. The Ducks finish the 2013 season 12-2 on the season and the Irish fell to 10-3.
