QB- Big Ben is going to be gone soon, and I should have some sort of back of plan for that. Landry Jones was traded out to move us the the 6th pick in the Draft so I need a back up QB. Will scout some QB's in the later rounds to look for a player I can eventually start or can be traded away.

WR- Will only look at a few WR's. We are already set when it comes to WR with Brown, Sanders and now Wheaton but if the next Jerry Rice comes through, I'll take him.

OT- Mike Adam's isn't the long term solution to our LT spot and Free Agency didn't provide any options that impressed me much, so I will look at the draft to see if we can find a player that can make a difference.

G/C- Ramon Foster also ins't a longer term solution so the draft is going to be helpful.

DE- With Arthur Jones coming into the team, I feel we have sufficient competition to force our players to play to their best of their ability. BUT if I fall in love with a DE like Laterrius Miranda, whose projected as the 6th best player overall, I may end up trading Heyward who has 1 year left in his contract.

LB- I currently have a gap in my LB core. With Foote gone, I need a MLB to start next to Timmons and another to back up the position.

CB- Ike Taylor's contract is expiring next year and he's getting old. Both are reasons to look a bit at CB.

SS/FS- Ryan Clark has retired but Shamarko Thomas has shown enough ability to be a solid starter in his spot. This leaves us needing a Back up safety. Also, Polamalu's contract is up next year....and he's old.

KR- With Leon Washington gone, the only returner on the team is Antonio Brown who I don't wanna risk in those duties. Hence, will keep an eye for a return man.

Another player that impressed me a lot, more than White. His accuracy is top notch and honestly, I think I will draft him and see what to do with Big Ben afterwards since he is only a 4th round pick. Or, I could look to see what pick I could get for Ben now if I commit to drafting Reece. A top 5 pick in terms of talent to me, will be the steal of the draft.

Colossal Steelers Trade

Ladies and Gentleman, it is with great surprise that I bring to you the following trade. The Pittsburgh Steelers have announced the sale of QB Ben Roethlisberger, their 1st round draft pick next year, and their 5th round pick this year(30th in the round) to the St. Louis Rams. His throwing ability is a level below Reese but I believe that can be made up for with his feet and ability to learn. These players will eventually be HOF players, and so we will draft both. Who ever has the most potential will stay while the other will be traded for Draft picks. Now, Reese will be available in the third round, so the picks from the Rams will allow us to grab White. This means that basically we traded Ben for a second Andrew Luck-level QB, while trading our first pick for next year and a 5th of this year for a top 10 pick this year. Honestly, that Tackle ability scared me. But everywhere else was solid, with him having elite agility. This means he most likely has great speed as well. What really sold him was his Awareness. To have a poor Awareness and still have a B overall, it means he has to have some great talent.

Before Draft Trades

Hello and welcome to the 2013 NFL Draft. I'm from ESPN News and I will be here to provide commentary here on Day 1. Before we start folks, I wish to announce a few last minute trades that materialized right before the deadline. Interesting, they both include the Rams.

The Pittsburgh Steelers have announced that they will trade the 1st overall pick, the one they received in what is now known as the Big Ben Trade, to the Oakland Raiders along with the 222 overall pick. In exchange, they received 3 very high draft picks. The first is the fourth overall pick in this same draft, while the second is the 36th overall pick in this draft as well. The 3rd pick is the 2nd round pick the Raiders have for next years draft.

Well, the 1st pick also brings the 1st surprise. Most believed that the Raiders would go for a QB with their first pick, most likely Craig McEwen but they have gone for defense. They must have saw something they liked Matt Flynn last year since they are concentrating on boosting the Defense with the likes of FA Tim Jennings as well as Seastrunk.

Craig McEwen(6'1, 225) QB, South Carolina
This was an obvious pick. Geno Smith, although he came into the draft highly rated, was horrible. He ended the season with single digit Touchdowns and the 28th highest QBR in the league. In Craig McEwen they have a chance to move on from the Circus that was the Rex Ryan era, and rebuild around the solid defense.

Lequinton McKinnon(6'4, 313) LT, Arkansas
Miami may have one of the worst O-Lines in the NFL. They allowed the 6th most sacks in the NFL this past season when Jake Long left. Enter McKinnion. Mckinnon is the highest rated offensive tackle in this draft by some distance and is rated by some to be a player who can immediately improve the protection. He is already an elite run blocker so he will have to improve his pass blocking to help Tannehill out.

Montrae Conley(6'3, 249) LOLB, Vanderbilt
Montrae Conley is officially the highest drafted Vanderbilt player in the history of the team. He beats out the 8th pick in the 1984 draft, Leonard Coleman and Jay Cutler, who was the 11th pick in the 2006 draft. From a size point of view, Conley is the greatest LB in the draft. He was described as a larger version of Colts legend Robert Mathis, which only means good things for this Pittsburgh team. Expect their defense to be even better next year as Conley potentially replaces Larry Foote.

Alan Petteway(5'8, 198) HB, Nebraska
An extremely surprising pick, the Bengals have selected Alan Petteway a year after making Giovani Bernard the top RB pick in the 2012 draft. Bernard only had 5 rushes the entire season which shows the lack of trust the team has in the player. This means they will replace the Law Firm with Petteway and probably try to trade Bernard.

JaQuay White(6'1, 219) QB, Syracuse
A very interesting but needed draft pick. JaQuay White seems to be the player who will take over the Starting QB position from the recently traded Ben Roethlisberger. It is an interesting move because of the large difference in the playing style of both players. Where Ben was somewhere between a game manager and a pocket passer, White is a bit more of a mobile QB who can make plays with his feet as well as his arms. He has always highly rated since coming out of high school, but inconsistency has played a part in his college career.

Jeffery Maramarosa(6'0, 201) SS, Florida State
Seems like the Browns were after QB JaQuay White, and so have traded out of the 7th overall pick. In exchange they received the 21st overall pick this year as well as the Chargers 1st round pick next year. It seems that, with this pick, the Chargers wish to create the strongest safety duo in the NFL. With Eric Weddle, arguably the best FS, they add the highest rated Safety since Mark Barron 2 years ago. Could be a great pick.

Darone McCreary(6'0, 186) CB, Floria
After already picking twice in the top 6, the Steelers traded the 8th pick to the Titans in exchange for the 22nd overall pick as well as the 54th overall pick in the draft. The Titans selected CB Darone McCreary, a Man to Man type defensive back, to pair up with Jason McCourty. This makes sense since their greatest division rivals are the Colts who are led by a certain QB by the name of Andrew Luck.

With Jay Ratliff reaching 33 years of age, the Cowboys must thing it's time to move on. Most assumed they would trade up for a QB to replace the retired Romo, but it can be said that Jerry belivies in using his gut more than football logic. I'm one of those that disagrees with Jerry being involved in the team(ie Travis Frederick) but who knows.

Gage Ashley(6'4 213) WR, Oregon State
The 49ers, who have a poor recent history of drafting WR's in the first round, have tried it again with the highest rated WR Gage Ashley. Gage has great size and, as a balanced WR, he can do what he is needed to. If he manages to take away focus from Crabtree, he will be worth the 28th and 60th overall draft picks used to trade up.
