Game Notes
-------------------
Once again the Raiders came away with a win and they did so last week in very convincing fashion. The Raiders offense was clicking on all cylinders, thanks largely in part to a break out game from Darren McFadden, but was followed up well with the play action game. It also didn't help that Oakland's D was extremely stout and didn't budge at all.
This week the Raiders will have an enormous task at hand though as they face one of the best quarterbacks that we've seen in a long long time and he's already gotten off to a hot start. The Broncos rely largely on their passing game and it has worked great. Last week the Broncos put up 5 passing touchdowns on the Giants with their three-headed monster in Demaryius Thomas, Eric Decker, and Wes Welker. It will be a tough challenge for the Raiders to stop them, but that's what it's going to take in order to defeat Peyton.

Haha yeah it's quite possible, but at the same time it's only 2 games and against lower rated teams.....let's see how I do against the better teams, like our next game against Denver
Re: Raider Nation Strong: An Oakland Raiders CFM (Madden 25/PS3)
ALAMEDA, Calif. -- Today was a day that a lot of Raiders fans were dreading, simply because Peyton Manning is an insane beast of a quarterback that will absolutely shred any defense....and guess what??? HE DID!!!
Things were rocky straight from the start as Peyton Manning started with his pin point accuracy and was giving the Raiders defense fits. He was finding Julius Thomas and Wes Welker both with extreme ease and craftfully worked the Broncos down to the field and then fooled everyone with a handoff to Montee Ball who scored. From there the Raiders seemed to gain some traction defensively as they managed to put stops to Peyton, but at the same time the Broncos defense was getting after Pryor, causing him to miss his targets and things never could get going. Sebastian Janikowski was even a little off on the day as he missed one from 48, but hen got one from 50.
That was all for not though, as Manning went back to work in the second quarter and once again made it look way to easy. As if he just copied and pasted the opening drive for the broncos, Manning did exactly the same stuff working it down field with his receivers and handed it back to Ball who scored his second TD. Matt Prater would then later tack on a 24 yard field goal to put Denver up by 14. Following the Prater field goal, a lot of fun happened. The Raiders would work the ball up the field and finally find the end zone as Pryor found Denarius Moore from 21 out, then the Broncos scored with Demaryius Thomas in 45 seconds, and then the Raiders scored with Jacoby Ford in 40 seconds to close out the half.
Coming back from the locker rooms, it seemed like maybe the Raiders had the momentum as they went into the half scoring really fast. They came out and rode that momentum all the way to the endzone as Jacoby Ford got his second touchdown on the day to tie the game. Peyton was having none of that though as he once again went back to work, mostly working with Julius Thomas and Wes Welker, but capped it off by finding Eric Decker for the go ahead score.
That wouldn't seem to be enough for the Broncos though as their D would continue to give Terrelle Pryor fits and Manning would continue to make it rain on the Raiders. He would once again find Eric Decker for a touchdown and once again the Broncos would go up by 14, but then Matt Prater hit a 50 yarder to go up 17. With less than 5 minutes left the Raiders would attempt a comeback as Pryor would find Mychal Rivera for a TD, but Matt Prater would put it a little more out of reach with another field goal. Now down 13 and less than 2 minutes the Raiders seemed to be out of it, but that changed as Denarius Moore would catch a pass, slip a defender, and go 70 yards for a touchdown!! Janikowski would then come out for the onside kick, but the Broncos would recover and go out with a 6 point victory.

What a game!! Tough loss though. But it should be at least a moral victory to know the Raiders can hold together against one of the best teams in the league.
