Oh god, I am not sure my blood pressure can take that. You should of seen my Bills chise back in the day I was rolling with Trent Edwards. I am hoping this means I finally get to play with a good QB. Fingers crossed.

Bills Come Out on Top in Sloppy Opener 16-7



Bills QB Kevin Kolb hooks up with TE Lee Smith for a second quarter score.

AP Indianapolis – You could tell it was the first preseason game, as the Buffalo Bills hung on for a 16-7 win in Lucas Oil Stadium. Both teams looked sloppy in the first week of the preseason combining for five turnovers and 85 yards of penalties.

For the Bills reserve QB Kevin Kolb looked solid completing over sixty percent of his passes and hooking up with TE Lee Smith for a score. The Buffalo faithful also got their first look at rookie QB E.J. Manuel. Manuel had a rough start to the afternoon, having to consistently hurry throws.

Bills CB Crezdon Butler pulls in a second half interception.

He did show off his elusive ability midway through the first quarter on a sixteen yard scramble. Also of note was the performance of third string HB Zach Brown who rushed for 55 yards on 11 carries.

For the Colts, HB Donald Brown stole the show. The fifth year back out of Connecticut rushed for 76 yards on the ground and added another 70 yards in receiving along with the Colts only score. Second year QB Andrew Luck had a rough outing completing less than fifty percent of his passes.

Players vying for roster spots across the league will wait anxiously through the evening as all teams are required to make their first roster cuts by midnight.
