Detroit Lions HC Bob Stoops Breaks Arm In Car Crash, But Is Ok

By: Sheldon Thompson, NFL Writer

Dearborn, MI-- Lokks like Bob Stoops is getting acclimated to Michigan, but not in a good way. On his way home from the Lions practice facility, Stoops ran into another car after he apparently "zoned out". The former Oklahoma coach was not using a cell phone or anything, apparently he was just "daydreaming". The driver in the other car is, however, still in shock and is at a local hospital for tests, but the driver did not suffer any serious injuries.

We will keep you updated on the situation as we get more information.

*From The Perspective Of High School Student Kyle Nash*

"Eh man, STAND UP!!! STAND UP MAN!!!" is what my government teacher told me. I was looking for a Current Event too early I guess. I stood up out of my tall, uncomtorble chair. It was only second hour, and I was ready to go to bed. I began to thinkabout if we had night school when..

"GET OUT!!! GET OUT MAN!!!! THANK YOU!!! Well have a nice chat in the hallway my man, you can put your money on it!!!" I realized I forgot to say "you're welcome", which is why he sent me out. As I was sent out, I saw the most popular kid in Belltown High School walk by, Scott Scheffler. He was about 5'10", and he was a junior. But the most popular kid in school wasn't the starting quarterback anymore, he was a lacrosse player.

As soon as Scott walked by, my government teacher, Mr. Johnson, came into the hallway. This is what he had to say:

Quote:
Mr. Johnson:Eh man. Where are your manners man? You are in this class FOR A REASON!!!!! Eh, EH MAN, look at me, LOOK AT ME!!! I don't want to see YOU in this hallway anymore man. You're a better man, and I expect more out of you man, I expect BETTER MAN. Now get back in there and do your current event. Thank you.
I said you're welcome and walked back into the room. Everyone seemed to stare at me, making me a bit uncomftorable. I tried to ignore them but couldn't si I just walked to my bag and grabbed out a pen. Then I listened to what my teacher had to say.

Quote:
Mr. Johnson:Its Black History Month so only black people raise their hands. (My govt teacher does this irl) Ok, you, state your name.
Alec: Alec.
Mr. Johnson: Sir, what topic did you choose?
Alec: I chose "Lions Coach Crashes Car After Zoning Out".
Mr. Johnson: Go on.
Alec: I think the coach didn't zone out, he was multitasking.
*Bell Goes Off*
Mr. Johnson: UGH!!!!!! Now GET OUT!!!
After a terrible start to the day, little did I know this would be one of the best days of my life.

*This storyline is out there, but it will tie into the main story soon.*

*Still the perspective of Kyle Nash*

I opened the door to my house and walked in. As soon as I took off my coat and stuff, the phone went off. I ran to get the phone and I was just in time.

Quote:
Me: Hello?
Dad: Hey Kyle. Jst wanted to see if you were home or not. Your little sister home?
Me: She's still at play dad, you should know this.
Dad: Oh yeah. So how was school?
Me: Good.
Dad: You learn anything new?
Me: Umm.. we learned about growth and decay in Algebra.
Dad: You get your grade up in that class?
*Silence*
Dad: Ugh. You know what, I forgot to tell you. My job gave me season tickets to the Lions this year. Real nice seats. But its too bad you can't come. Maybe if you got those grades up.....
Me: I can get my grades up dad!
Dad: Are you still failing Algebra?
*Silence*
Dad: No tickets until the grades are up. I put hard work into work every day, and for me to reward you, you need to do the same. Now I have to head to a meeting, so bye.
Me: Bye.
I turned on ESPN and sighed. I had a horrible Algebra teacher and it seemed impossible to pass a test in that class. I knew I would have to work to get my grades up, something I wasn't looking forward to. But I knew in order to get my dream job of working at ESPN, I would have to get good grades, which I wasn't doing. I pulled out my government homework and began working. If I wanted to ever get to see my favorite QB, Caleb Henderson in person, I would have to complete the objectives necessary for the prize: the tickets.

*Perspective Of Kyle Nash*

As soon as I saw that tweet by the Lions, I typed as fast as I could my tweet. This, I thought, was my best chance to get close to my idol, Caleb Henderson. I got the question in my mind, typed it in, then pressed the send button.

Now it was time to wait for a response.
