Bob Stoops in as next Lions head coach

After about 2 months of searching, the Lions have found their new head man. Late last night the team offically announced the hiring of Oklahoma Sooners coach Bob Stoops. Stoops has never actually worked in the NFL, and he previously has turned down NFL jobs before this. Stoops, a defensive minded coach, led the Sooners to an 8-6 record in 2016 and has said he will implement his spread offense from Oklahoma. Stoops will have to find out who his QB will be, however. 2016 starter Caleb Henderson ended the year with 27 interceptions, a league high. Henderson is entering his second year, and he is a pocket passer, so he will have to adapt to Stoops' spread offense if he wants to stay.

Detroit Lions QB Caleb Henderson Announces He's In Relationship With Actress Peyton List

In a slow Friday before WildCard weekend, there was one piece of news that wasn't very important, but a bit intresting. After a disasturous rookie season by the rookie QB, he announces he's been in a relationship with aspiring young actress Peyton List. List, who is the same age as Henderson (21), used to work for Disney channel and is now starring in the new "Spiderman" movie as Mary Jane. I guess that is one positive for Henderson as he heads into the offseason throwing a league high 27 interceptions and breaking his collarbone Week 17 against Green Bay.
