#17 UConn is heading on the road for the first time this season as they head to Lane Stadium , to face the #15 Virginia Tech Hokies. The experts have VT winning this game but UConn has a knack for upsetting the experts picks.

There was only a few bits of news during the Huskies week off and that is that UConn has decided to place Kamal Abrams back in at Punt & Kick Returning for the rest of season.

UConn has their 1st game of a 3 game road trip that includes a stop at Yankee Stadium to face Army and their first trip to Louisiana to face Tulsa. UConn returns home to the Rent on October 25th for a game against the SMU Mustangs.

UConn Wins in a Wet Game

UConn advanced to a 3rd straight win as it knocked off #15 seed-Virginia Tech Hokies to a score of 28-7. The Huskies defense held the Hokies to one score in the 2nd by a TD pass from Mark Leal to Demitiri Knowles at the beginning of the 2nd quarter.

UConn was lead by Chandler Whitmer who passed for 200+ yards and 2 TDs, he would've had a third TD but was injured briefly which lead Casey Cochran to get his 1st career TD. Lyle McComb would rush for 80+ yards as well in the victory.

UConn's Elijah 'EJ' Norris racked up 3 tackles and 2 sacks bringing his season total to 7 which is only 8 away from tying Jesse Joseph's all-time season record set just last year.

UConn is off next week before return to action again on the road against Tulsa.
