Via JHedges2:

Don’t use money plays to abuse the AI

- If up big, conservative clock management should be used

- Squib kicks should be used sparingly, if at all (SIM-STYLE)

- 4th downs should be handled as you would see teams handle them on Saturdays

- Ensure your recruiting assistance is OFF, so that over-signing is not an ‘accident’

My thoughts on switching players, post snap: This is to be SIM style. That means that players should not get a ‘boost’ from you, the user. If you want make USER catches, then play as DB’s or WR’s pre-snap. I don’t think it’s ‘fair’ to the CPU to play as a pass rusher, then switch to the DB to make the play on the ball too. Same goes on offense. USERs will be able to make better judgements concerning throws, so they should not be able to ‘out-maneuver’ defenders to make catches too.

----------------------------------------------------------------

RECRUITING RULES/RESTRICTIONS

Formula used to determine how many prospects you may sign:

The number of seniors you have, plus the number of total players on your roster away from 70 (i.e. 68 = 2), plus the team’s prestige bonus (6* = 0, 5* = 2, 4* = 4, 3* = 6) to get the number of recruits you may sign.

EXAMPLE:

TEAM A has 15 seniors, 69 players, and is a 4* program. So the formula is as follows:

15 + 1 + 4 = 20

----------------------------------------------------------------

PLAYERS LEAVING EARLY/TRANSFERS

For each player that leaves early or transfers, I may add a prospect to your signing class.

So, in above example, Team A is allowed 20 prospects, if said team has 3 players leave for NFL, they are given an additional 3 prospects in off-season recruiting.

If above team signed 23, when only allotted 20, and 3 leave early, they are not allowed to sign any in off-season, but also are not penalized.

----------------------------------------------------------------

RECRUITING PENALTIES

For each prospect that is signed over a team’s limit, it will cost the team 3 scholarships per year, for the next 2 seasons.

Example:

Team A is allotted 20 scholarships, they sign 22 players. They will be deducted 4 scholarships each season, for the following 2 seasons.

If said team over-signs while on probation, they will be removed from the league.

Additionally, I must follow Army's height and weight requirements (maximum of 6'8 height, 280 pounds weight,) and no redshirting, as pointed out to me by Manning2Harrison.

This dynasty will start after the 2013-2014 BCS National Championship, in which Florida State beat Auburn.

Re: Duty-Honor-Country: Army Black Knights Football (NCAA 14)

A Brief History of Army Black Knights Football

Army, also known as West Point has been playing football since 1890, when they faced now-arch-rival Navy. Navy won the firs game in this legendary rivalry, but Army returned the favor the next year. Typically, Army faces Navy every December to close the NCAA Division I college football regular season. Army plays its home games at Michie Stadium in West Point, New York.

Army has only been in five bowl games, winning three of them. The Black Knights have won three national championships (1944, 1945, and 1946), have 37 All-Americans and three Heisman winners; all of these numbers are greater than Navy.

Army is also rivals with Air Force (Army, Air Force and Navy play for the Commander in Chief's Trophy,) Notre Dame and Rutgers. Army has not won/been in a bowl game since 2010.

The Army-Navy game is typically held at a neutral site; in the near future, the game will be played at M&T Bank Stadium or at Lincoln Financial Field. Navy has won twelve straight games in the series, and holds a nine game all time lead. This rivalry has become lopsided, which was a major factor in Army head coach Rich Ellerson being dismisses after the 2013 season. Ellerson led Army to a 20-41 record over 5 years, with one bowl win.

A New Era

Army dismissed Rich Ellerson rather soon after Ellerson's Black Knights lost their twelfth straight game to their main rival, Navy. The new coach? Jeff Monken, a man who spent a good deal of time on Navy's coaching staff a few years ago. Monken also was a part of Georgia Tech's coaching staff, in which the offensive style ran on a triple-option playbook. Monken plans to use this triple option playbook at Army. Most recently, Monken has been the head coach of the FCS program Georgia Southern, who he led to three FCS semi-finals.Due to Monken's efforts, Georgia Southern is transitioning to the FBS level.

It has been made clear by Army AD Boo Corrigan that Monken is expected to win immediately, a task easier said than done for a team that is coming off a 3-9 campaign. Army has been stuck in mediocrity for several years now, and Monken is expected to right the ship.
