Southlake Stomps Dillon

DILLON, TX - The Dillon Panthers were sent home with a loss after a 45-18 drumming from Southlake Carroll. The Dragons were a far superior team today in all aspects. Dillon couldn't compete with the vast amount of talent on the Dragon roster. Southlake is now on their way to another possible undefeated season. After the game we caught up with Coach Taylor for a few words.

"We've got a lot of work to do, but there were a few upsides in this game. Smash played extremely well against what is probably the best defense we will see all year. Our lineman on both sides of the ball will have to perform better if we want to win though."

Coach Taylor is now on the hot seat according to many Dillon fans and boosters.
"People in Dillon want to win championships. It's hard for a coach to step in and not win his first game. But I believe Coach Taylor will continue to help these kids improve," Buddy Garrity commented after the game.

Next week the Panthers are at home and will host the Cedar Hill Longhorns.

This makes me so happy, I wonder if the JD McCoy controversy will be added to this, I love FNL and definitely will be following.
