Yea, I'm surprised we were able to win, had their quarterback not turned the ball over so much I don't think I would've won.

Thanks I like to keep the layout simple, it allows me to crank out games a little faster.

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — The Eagles just came off a confident inspiring 41-23 win over Wyoming, however they may be brought back down to earth when they head to Beaver Stadium this weekend.

As if Beaver Stadium isn't hard enough to play in, Eastern Michigan just can't match the talent that Penn State puts out on both sides of the ball. This seems to be merely a game to gauge how good the Eagles offense and defense are against top tier talent. The only good news about this match up is starting quarterback Christian Hackenberg may miss the game with a bruised shoulder, although at this point in time he is listed as probable.

If Eastern Michigan was somehow able to pull out this win it would go down as one of the biggest upsets of this season.

Good luck against Penn State, should be a tough game.

Re: To the Moon and Beyond - Coaching Career of Jackie Moon (NCAA 14)

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — The good show why they are good, Penn State dominated both sides of the ball and in the process maybe taught Eastern Michigan what it takes to compete at the top level.

Christian Hackenberg ended up starting and what a day he had, throwing for over 300 yards and two touchdowns, being very efficient and making all the throws expected out of a player of his caliber. Hackenberg wasn't the only player on Penn State's offense that had a big day, Z. Zwinak ran for two scores and gashed the Eagles for 133 yards.

Eastern Michigan started off on a good foot, ending the first quarter with a 7-7 tie, but Penn State eventually started to pull away and that was that. Even though the Eagles lost they learned that they can get pretty good pressure on opposing quarterbacks and their pass defense played very well considering the level of talent that the Nittany Lions had on the field. Also, Creel has the surest hands out of any of the receiving corps, catching all of the passes thrown his way.

Hopefully Eastern Michigan will take advantage of this opportunity to improve after a loss.

Penn State's first drive featured a healthy dose of the running game and then was capped off by this four yard run by Zwinak.

Eastern Michigan shows their fullback a little love, giving him a red zone carry, and he paid them back tying the game at 7-7 from three yards out.

Hackenberg hooks up with his tight end, K. Carter, on this four yard touchdown pass early in the second quarter giving Penn State a 7-14 lead.

After Penn State's first drive is held to a field goal, Carter and Hackenberg hook up again in the red zone and further increased Penn State's lead toi 7-24.

Zwinak shows off his stiff arm on the final touchdown of this game, giving Penn State a comfortable 7-31 lead early in the fourth quarter.
