Also, I'm going through the players and these are the number changes I'm going to make since there are a few conflicts with jersey numbers:

Ramon Bruguera: changed from 7 to ??
Johnathan Smith: changed from 1 to ??
Jay Greyvenstein: changed from 17 to 2
Jeremiah Smith: changed from 44 to ??
Ty Johnson: changed from 24 to ??
Jayson Dollove: changed from 1 to ??

please let me know what number you would like in replacement for your player as soon as possible.
Ramon Bruguera: changed from 7 to 15

Re: 2019-20 Santa Cruz Cardinals CAP sign up Thread

If you still need players:

First Name: Desmond
Last Name: Williams
Position: SS
Year: SR
Team: Varsity
Height: 6'3
Weight: 220
Jersey Number: 21

Play Style: Dez is safety known for his hard hits, he's a run support/in the box type SS but he can drop back in coverage when he's called upon. Being a former cornerback and halfback, Desmond is great on the blitz in man coverage and has vision to run the ball back if he intercepts/recovers it.

Skin Tone: Dark

Accessories: Nike Vapor Fly gloves (I think that's what they're called), low socks, Nike low cut shoes, and two wristbands.

If a junior or senior, provide a description of what level of recruit he is, if he is getting any interest at all: Desmond Williams (* * * *) is a big strong safety known for his devastating hits. For a 6'3 220 pound man is surprisingly fast (think Sean Taylor type safety), which helps him deliver even more force in his hits. Desmond is most likely going to play at a D1 school like UCLA/Michigan/Oregon, but not an elite program like LSU or Alabama.

Bio: Desmond is a somewhat quiet guy, he'll joke around with the team and chill with the guys but isn't one for parties. He played in the local pop warner league originally as a HB, but as he grew in size he was moved to the defensive side of the ball. Starting out as a sort of jam and hard hitting corner (think Brandon Browner) Williams was eventually moved to SS, where he thrived. After getting recognition from playing in PW, Desmond became a reliable player on the high school football team. He prefers to go by his nickname "Dez".

First Name: Dontae'

Last Name: Brown

Position: WR/CB

Year(FR, SO, JR, or SR): SO

Team(s): JV

Height: 6'4"

Weight: 210

Jersey Number: 5,15,55

Play Style:

Scouting Report

As a WR:

Brown is mismatch nightmare. He has such daunting size that he is always open. Brown can get open downfield and get separation from defensive backs, but even when they cover him, he can make catches over them. With Browns's size, leaping ability and body control, he is a fantastic red-zone weapon. If nothing else, Brown should be a touchdown-producer from the first step he takes on the field. Brown has the potential to be a No. 1 receiver, but he is raw. Brown needs to improve his route-running, technique and hands. Often not the reciever of choice because other WR's are more trustworthy than Brown, who is prone to some drops.

As a CB:

At 6-foot-4 and 210 pounds, Brown is perhaps the most imposing and physical cornerback high schoolers will ever see. He can swallow up wide receivers at the line of scrimmage with his length and power, while he can also be an impact tackler in the running game and open field. He has a large catch radius and sufficient ball skills. He can play press-man coverage and hold his own against split out tight ends, too. There are two concerns when it comes to Brown -- his speed and his lateral agility. He timed poorly coming out training camp (in the 4.63 range) and is not the type of cornerback that you want in a foot race against a flying flanker. With a high-cut lower half, Brown can be stiff in his hips to change direction, making it difficult to stick with shifty wide receivers at the top of their routes. These limitations are neutralized when using Brown in a specific way, as used in his freshman year -- relying heavily on him to use his size at the line of scrimmage and impede opposing wideouts’ routes before they could get downfield.

Skin Tone: Lightskin Black

Accessories(all varsity players will wear Revo Speeds, and most JV players will too, but no freshman will wear Revo Speeds): Revo Speeds

Bio: One of the top ranked ATH in the country, unlimited potential, but does things like party and drink to ruin his chance at the NFL. Cares about scouts more than winning, diva-esque, misses practices etc.

First Name: Cal
Last Name: Redwood
Position: DE/Jack Linebacker
Year(FR, SO, JR, or SR): SR
Team(s): (refer to the numbers above to see how many of each year player and position player there are per team): Varsity
Height: 5'11
Weight: 195
Jersey Number: 99
Play Style: 5 tech speed rusher. Can play Jack linebacker too.
Skin Tone: white
Accessories(all varsity players will wear Revo Speeds, and most JV players will too, but no freshman will wear Revo Speeds): dark facemask, Nike vapor fly gloves, 3/4 arm sleeves, team secondary color.
If a junior or senior, provide a description of what level of recruit he is, if he is getting any interest at all: 5 star
Bio: Cal is a speed rusher with something to prove, as everyone said he was too small when he tried to get into rival's high school team. Instead he joined the Cardinals and proved everyone wrong with amazing speed and finesse, and is trying to get recruited by USC or Stanford.

First Name: Kyle
Last Name: Kieth
Position: QB
Year(FR, SO, JR, or SR): FR
Team(s): (refer to the numbers above to see how many of each year player and position player there are per team): Freshman
Height: 6'6
Weight: 225
Jersey Number: 16
Play Style: Balanced QB, has a strong arm but not too much accuracy and is semi mobile.
Skin Tone: medium
Accessories(all varsity players will wear Revo Speeds, and most JV players will too, but no freshman will wear Revo Speeds): Bulldog helmet, clear facemask.
If a junior or senior, provide a description of what level of recruit he is, if he is getting any interest at all:
Bio: A QB trying to make it to the top, Kyle wants to play in the NFL and he has a arm to prove it. His mission is to become the starting QB and gain popularity with the recruiters. But his social life distracts him from the game sometimes and he can lose focus.
