And, I don't know I guess I just don't buy Fresno. I mean, Hawaii was undefeated in '07 and still was only ranked like 7th before they lost in the BCS... played a similar schedule and all... Guess that's EA logic for ya...

I agree, Fresno State's schedule wasn't that strong - though they are the only undefeated school so I can't argue that. But when EA has on several occasions in dynasties past have had teams from the Sun Belt make the National Championship Game, I can live with Fresno State being there instead.

Non-AQ schools are all collectively celebrating I'd assume, Boise's down year definitely helped pave the way for Fresno's easy schedule.
