A. Glanton returned an INT 66 yards for a touchdown.
FAU limped out of Tuscaloosa after a 55-10 drumming on Saturday. Alabama showcased their superiority and showed football fans why they're the number one team in the country.
"They're good. Real good. And it showed from the first snap. We were rattled, and we couldn't execute anything to save our lives," Perry said after the game, "We also need to figure out a better way to move the ball on the ground. And we can't keep turning the ball over like we have been." The Owls will head back to Boca Raton to prepare for Tulsa in their home opener.

FAU escaped with a win over Tulsa today. The Owls opened the game with an 11 play, 75 yard drive that was capped off by a 7 yard touchdown pass. On the first play of the second quarter Jaquez Johnson connected with William Dukes on a 48 yard touchdown pass to put FAU up 14-6. Tulsa continued to battle back, matching every Owl touchdown with points of their own. The FAU defense played incredibly well, giving up just 299 yards of offense. The bend but don't break mentality kept the Owls in the game.
"I'm very pleased with the way the defense played. We just need to figure out how to make those stops before field goal range. Those guys out there on D got us this W," Perry said after the game. Perry went on to note that the offense had its best performance of the season, finally able to get rolling and score.
The Owls will play host to Middle Tennessee State next week in another CUSA mathchup.
