Re: Aces High | A New York Jets Franchise

I've taken a pause here to correct the depth charts of all the teams before simming the rest of the Week 2 games. Gotten through the P's so there's not much further to go.

Re: Aces High | A New York Jets Franchise

head's up to 32-user guys.

The AI does not leave the blanks spots where injured players were on the DC. Example: Philly's RL DC at QB is Foles-Sanchez-Barkley. With Foles hurt I had it (Empty)-Sanchez-Barkley. Before the Philly-Indy game the AI changed it to Barkley-Sanchez-Punter.

Re: Aces High | A New York Jets Franchise

Third freeze today came after I played the Bears. I think I'm done with M15 until I see what the next patch does.

That's got to be frustrating. At least it gives you a chance to continue the Broncos franchise.

I was pretty steamed when I posted that. First I found out I'm going to have to re-check the DC's where injured players were. Then the game I played vs. Da Bears didn't count because of the lock-up. I think I just needed a break from it after the day I'd had with it. I needed to get things moving ahead with the Keith Jackson franchise anyway.

I'm still playing catch-up to mid-2018 with the Broncos, so there's plenty left to report even if I go another week with playing one of their games. And I want to be playing games. I'll get back to this but I'll need to repair depth charts. I think I'll do that by Week 3 matchups and do some further slider testing.

Re: Aces High | A New York Jets Franchise

Players of the Week

AFC Offense: HB Arian Foster, HOU - 12 att., 110 yards, TD, 5 rec., 32 yards, TD
AFC Defense: OLB Terrell Suggs, BAL - 17 TAK, 2 sacks

NFC Offense: QB Tony Romo, DAL - 27/41, 244 yards, 5 TD
NFC Defense: OLB Ryan Kerrigan, WAS - 16 TAK, 4 sacks

JOHN-NY! JOHN-NY!

Fan pressure for Johhny Manziel to start for the Browns will only increase after Brian Hoyer’s latest performance. Hoyer went 10-for-26 for 61 yards and threw his league-leading 5th pick, for a rating of 30.6, in 0-2 Cleveland’s 31-0 shutout by the Saints.

Romo In Strange Company

With his startling 5-touchdown day against the Titans, Tony Romo now shares the TD pass lead with Peyton Manning and Drew Brees, each of who had another 3-TD game. Manning surrendered his QB rating to lead Brees (111.8) and now actually trails Romo (110.9) by a full point.

Spiller, Ellington Top Leader Board After Big Games

C.J. Spiller’s 178 yards in Buffalo’s win over Miami gave him the NFL rushing lead with 288, but Arizona’s Andre Ellington had a bigger day with 211 a smack-down of the G-Men. Ellington would have had even more if he hadn’t succumbed to a back injury.

Other leaders: After a 13-catch day in Week 1, Keenan Allen had a more modest 5 this week and has been tied by Roddy White. Megatron has 297 receiving yards and Demaryius Thomas has caught 5 of Peyton Manning’s 6 TD passes. Week 1 AFC Defensive Player of the Week Cortez Allen has been tied at 3 interceptions by Aqib Talib, who picked of Alex Smith twice on Sunday. If Brian Hoyer feels like too much is being of his 5 picks, he might want to point out that that’s only one more than Andrew Luck and Philip Rivers have.

Henne Keeps Bortles Waiting

The days of Blake Bortles holding a clipboard don’t appear to be ending anytime soon. The Jaguars failed to defeat the Redskins, but Chad Henne posted a 100.9 rating in a losing effort. Henne was 20 of 29 for 228 yards with 2 TD’s and a pick.

Titans Ship Ayers To Arizona

In Arizona, and injured John Abraham has been pondering retirement. In Tennessee, after rejecting an extension offer for less than he was asking, outside linebacker Akeem Ayers told the Titans that he had no intention of playing for them after this season. Their response was that they had no intention of him playing for them any more, period. He has been sent to the Cardinals in exchange for a 5th round pick in 2015. Ayers, the 39th overall pick of the 2011 draft, recorded 104 tackles and 6 sacks, but his production fell off sharply last year and he had both knees operated on during the offseason.
