"Kansas is coming off an impressive road upset over their hated instate rivals who just happened to be ranked #1 in the country and they play better on the road... But, I believe Coach Johnson will rally his troops and get them fired up this weekend, so they will put this 2 game losing skid behind them. I predict West Virginia will win 30-21." - Kirk Herbstreit

Game Notes
"Oklahoma State has one of the worst offenses in the country in a conference where offense is relied on more than defense. Because of that, I think West Virginia's defense will do a good job of shutting down the Cowboy Offense and pull out a win. I predict WVU will win by a score of 31-17." - Kirk Herbstreit

Game Notes
"This is a bad WVU defense. The only reason they won last week was because of a sensational 4th quarter led by Clint Trickett. Without that 4th quarter, they would have lost by at least 4 touchdowns. I think it'll be a long day for this defense and Kansas State will come out on top 38-31." - Kirk Herbstreit

2015 Signing Day

Signing Day was rather quiet for the Mountaineers. They expected all 24 of their commits to fax in their LOI's (which did happen), but the Mountaineer staff got a little surprise today.

At 9:35 A.M the Mountaineers got a surprise commitment from instate Linebacker Eric Boyd. Michigan for the LONGEST time seemed to have a steady lead. But, a BIG push for the instate Linebacker in the weeks leading up to signing day really made Boyd change his mind and he ultimately chose WVU because of that.

Because of Boyd's commitment on Signing Day, that pushed the Mountaineers recruiting class to a perfect 25 commitments. This also helped further extend their lead for the top recruiting class in the Nation. The Mountaineers were one of two teams to sign 25 commitments, Clemson being the other. The Mountaineers class breaks down like this:

5 Stars: 4
4 Stars: 10
3 Stars: 11
