Showdown in Philly
November 23, 2014
Philadelphia PA

Quick Take | Down 24-14 following a Nick Foles touchdown throw, Tennessee seemed destined to drop their third straight. But a solid drive capped off by an Andre Ellington run cut the lead to three. Just over a minute later they were in the end zone again following a LeSean McCoy fumble. That 28-24 lead was a lead Tennessee would never give up as they improved to 6-5.

It was over when... | Andre Ellington ran for three yards and a first down with 1:45 left. The Eagles were out of time outs and the Titans were just three kneel downs away from victory.

Game Ball | Halfback Andre Ellington - 27 Carries, 162 Yards, 2 TD
Ellington was key in the second half as the Titans fought back from ten down.

Game Notes | For the first time in weeks, Tennessee was healthy on offense and it showed in their performance. However, Jake Locker did have two fumbles, both on scrambles. -- Undrafted free agent rookie Allen Hurns saw action for the first team in week, catching two passes for 26 yards and nearly finding the end zone. -- Rumors at the start of the game that rookie Taylor Lewan may get the start over Michael Roos due to contract stalls did not fall through as Lewan did not see the field.

Texans Keep Playoff Hops Alive
November 30, 2014
Houston TX

Quick Take | Houston shut down the Tennessee high flying offense and edged out the Titans, 19-9 to improve to 7-5 on the season and keep their playoff hopes alive.

It was over when... | Jake Locker's two point conversion with under a minute left failed. The Titans had little hope at that point, but that truly sealed their fate. The ensuing onside kick was recovered by Houston and the game was over.

Game Ball | Wide Receiver Andre Johnson - 7 Receptions, 83 Yards, 1 TD
Houston's offense struggled until late, but Johnson was a consistent target for Ryan Fitzpatrick throughout the game, leading the team in yards and receptions.

Game Notes | Tennessee once again falls to .500 on the year. With back to back games against teams with losing records, this could be Tennessee's chance to push towards a playoff birth.

Nassib Leads G-Men to Victory
December 7, 2014
Nashville TN

Quick Take | The Giants watched a nine point advantage turn into a one point disadvantage halfway through the final quarter. But back up Ryan Nassib, in for an injured Eli Manning, saved the Giants engineering an impressive drive that ended with a Jerrel Jernigan touchdown catch with just 34 seconds left.

It was over when... | Jake Locker's fourth down attempt with 17 seconds left fell incomplete.

Game Ball | Halfback David Wilson - 14 Carries, 114 Yards; 7 Receptions, 52 Yards
Wilson started for an injured Rashad Jennings and did not disappoint. He was a master in the backfield and was the Giants leading receiver in receptions.

Game Notes | Despite his impressive season thus far, linebacker Derrick Morgan was benched in favor of Steve Beauharnais following contract discussions. When asked, head coach Ken Whisenhunt stated, "it doesn't seem that Derrick wants to play with the Titans in 2015. We felt this was a great opportunity to see what Steve could do for us." Beauharnais had three tackles and two sacks in the loss. -- The loss drops the Titans to 6-7 the first time they've had a losing record since they were 2-3 in week five.
