We all know the story. Michigan football. Once a dominant force in the great sport of college football, now shaken to it's very core. Once a program that dominated the likes of Notre Dame, Michigan State and Ohio State, now fighting hard to stay in a game with Indiana, Purdue and Northwestern.

National Championships and Heisman Trophies seem like such a far stretch. Gone are the days of Charles Woodson, Braylon Edwards and Mario Manningham. Gone are the days of undefeated seasons and Big Ten Championships.

But anything old can become new again. Anything bad can become good. And from the winningest program in college football, to a shell of it's former self, it's time. It's time for Michigan to step up. It's time for Michigan to become new again. It's time for Michigan to become good again. The winningest program in college football. THIS. IS. MICHIGAN.

The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It’s a very mean and nasty place and I don’t care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard ya hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done!

I am going to play the first game tonight. I originally had me being the head coach. Instead, I'm not going to say anything about a head coach. Pretend it's whoever you want. This is about Michigan.
