Alright guys, it looks like I'm not going to be able to use Photobucket for my pictures anymore, and I don't want to get into the new season without image hosting set up. I'll probably switch to Imgur and go back and edit some older posts, so if the new season takes a little bit to get started, that's why. I should have some more offseason posts though, which will be up soon.

I've had plenty of problems with Photobucket too.. that's why I switched to imgur a couple years ago and I don't have any regrets doing so. Interesting to see that someone else is having problems with that site as well though.

I've had some minor issues with them before, but now it appears they're requiring a $400 account to be able to share images on a third-party site. So a change is now necessary.

Hoosiers take a step backward in recruiting

Bloomington- After signing a top ten recruiting class last year, Indiana will bring a slightly less impressive class into Bloomington this season.

Indiana's class was rated #54 in the country by ESPN. By comparison, last season's class was ranked 9th.

The drop is in large part due to several top Indiana recruits deciding late in the recruiting process to sign elsewhere. Among those higher ranked recruits is receiver Jason Kirby, the highest rated skill position player on the Hoosiers' recruiting board. Kirby had appeared to favor IU for most of the season, but ultimately chose to sign with Michigan State.

Other notable players who chose to sign elsewhere include Kevin Hawk, who chose Minnesota, and Nick Swan, who signed with Cincinnati.

"Obviously we would have like to have signed these guys," said coach Pate, "but we still feel good with the guys we got. We filled our needs with some solid players, so I think we'll be just fine."

The top recruiting class this year belongs to Alabama, followed by Texas A&M, Tennessee, national champion Notre Dame, and Oklahoma. Penn State's class is ranked 6th, the highest in the Big Ten.

Testing, testing...this thing still on?

Now that college football is back in full swing, I've got the itch to get the new season underway. I still haven't gotten around to fixing the image problem yet, so old post will likely have broken links for a while. New post should be fine though.

• Quarter length has been increased from 6 to 7 minutes.
• Minimum speed threshold has been lowered from 50 to 40.
• Several penalty sliders have been increased.
• NRG Stadium in Houston will host the Big 12 Championship in 2021.
