The Browns look to get their first win of the season in front of the home crowd against the AFC North rival Ravens.
After two straight 44-38 OT losses, Coach Freday felt like it was time to get some help. That help turned out to be Danny Amendola. Released by the Patriots in the preseason, he seems like the perfect fit to play alongside Josh Gordon and to mentor these young receivers. He provides another option for Johnny Manziel when he is forced to rely upon the passing game. But that can't be the only thing that works today. The Brownies need defense is they want to stop the balanced attack of the Ravens, led by Joe Flacco and Justin Forsett. Joe Haden needs to lead by example. His blown assignment on te game winning play last week was just unacceptable. The Browns have a lot of young, yet raw DBs that can become something like what Haden has been the last couple of year. They will need him today, as Torrey Smith and Steve Smith, Sr. are Flacco's favorite targets when they don't run he ball right down the throat of defenses with Forsett.

Game Notes
1 PM Kickoff on CBS.
This will be a tough one for the Browns, since the Ravens have the best run defense in the league.
Manziel may be forced to throw more often than he would like.
Ravens beat the Steelers on Thursday Night Football last week by a score of 34-13.
Browns lost their second straight 44-38 game in OT to the Saints at home last week.
Andre Ellington launches himself into the end zone after catching a screen pass from over 30 yards out in the 2nd quarter.
Now that's how you do it. Shut down the passing game, and take a lead, so that the Ravens are forced to pass it. The Browns continue to get to the QB, and they lead the lead the NFL in team sacks by a wide margin. They got to Joe Flacco all day, and even knocked him out of the game for a possession. The offense struggled near the red zone, missing two field goals as a result of a 17 mph crosswind, and Manziel did throw a pick in the end zone near the end of the first half. Andre Ellington continues to show that he is a big addition to this team, with 2 TDs, 1 rushing and 1 receiving. Danny Amendola's first touchdown catch with the Browns was the go ahead score early in the 4th. On defense, Joe Haden silenced his critics from last week by making a beautiful interception in the 3rd after completing a full 360 turn to catch the ball. The Browns now have two weeks to prepare to head to Nashville and take on the Titans.
The first touchdown catch as a Brown for Danny Amendola put the Browns up 1.
Johnny Manziel shows his excitement after going in for the 2 point conversion and a 3 point lead.
