It should hurt you a little inside to beast up on the fighting camels.. What style of offense are you running.. As in which playbook.

Haha! When I was playing the game I was like, maybe I should bump this up to Heisman, this is pretty unrealistic. Then I remembered that when App State played Campbell this year, App State won 66-0... So I felt a little better knowing that I "only" beat them by 56 :P.

But, I just use the playbook called "Spread Option". I experimented a couple months back with different playbooks cause I got tired of running the same playbooks in each dynasty. I would only use either Pro Style, One Back, or Tennessee's playbook. One game I experimented with the Spread Option with a created team which just happened to have a fast QB, and I loved it because it was so different than any other offense I've used on NCAA Football.

I'm excited to recruit some fast players for my team to see how they do. Cause normally, I'd just recruit whoever had the highest overall rating and use them. But, with this dynasty I'm recruiting only speed Halfbacks and speedy Wide Receivers. Then, once my prestige rating gets higher and more players are interested, I'll recruit some fast ATH's to be the QB.

Appalachian State jumped out to a great start. They scored the games first two touchdowns in what seemed to be the start of a great game for the Mountaineers. The first TD was an 8 yard catch by speedster Tacoi Sumler on a bubble screen, he broke a tackle then dove for the corner of the endzone and got in. The next TD was off of a triple option. Lamb faked the hand off to Ricky Ferguson, then ended up pitching the ball to Cox running right who was able to get in untouched for the 5 yard TD run. The score was 14-0... And that's all App State would get.

After that, Arkansas State dominated the game. It all started with a great drive led by QB Freddie Knighton, who capped it off with a 12 yard TD pass in the 2nd quarter to bring the score to 14-7. Then, Arkansas State forced a 3 and out, which led to yet another Arkansas State TD. This time, Knighton threw a 25 yard TD pass with just 48 seconds left in the half to tie the game up at 14 a piece.

Arkansas then scored on their first possession which was yet another Knighton TD pass, but this time it was a 5 yard slant pass to Cox. The extra point was missed to make the score 20-14... but it didn't matter. Appalachian State could not move the ball in the second half and after Arkansas State forced a 3 and out they capitalized and came out of their next possession with a field goal. That made the game 23-14 and that's how it would end.

Next week the Mountaineers take on their in conference foe, the Troy Trojans who are also 5-2 on the year.

Troy got the ball rolling when they took their first drive down for a score. That score was a 4 yard TD run which put the Trojans up 7-0 early in the 4th quarter. That would be the only score of the 1st quarter.

The 2nd quarter on the other hand saw a total of 35 points. Troy struck first in the 2nd quarter by scoring on a 15 yard TD pass to give them a 14-0 lead. App State finally responded, but this time Marcus Cox took the handoff and ran in from 11 yards out to make the score 14-7. Troy answered right back with a 35 yard TD pass with a drive that didn't take more than a minute and a half. Troy extended their lead to 21-7. Appalachian State then gets 2 TD's to close out the half. The first came on a 15 yard TD pass to Thomas Beck on a curl route, who broke a tackle and could've walked into the endzone afterwards. Then, with less than a minute left in the half, Lamb dumped a pass off to Marcus Cox for the 1 yard TD pass. So, at halftime the game was tied up at 21.

The 3rd quarter had 2 of the best plays in the nation from Week 11. The first was a 78 yard run by App State HB Marcus Cox. Cox took the triple option, made one defender miss, as he outran everyone to the endzone. App State was on top for the first time in the game 28-21. Then, on Troy's second play, Tidwell found Harris for an 81 yard TD pass. Harris just ran a post over the middle and beat the press coverage on him at the line of scrimmage. That made the game 28-28. Then, to close out the 3rd quarter, Troy forced a 3 and out then capitalized by making a 20 yard field goal. So at the end of 3 quarters, the game was 31-28 Troy.

The only score of the 4th quarter was a 5 yard TD run for Troy which put the game basically out of reach for Appalachian State. If it weren't for Marcus Cox's great run to start the 3rd quarter, there is a good chance they would've been held scoreless in the 2nd half for the 2nd straight game... That is definitely something which needs to improve if Appalachian State has any hopes of a bowl game. But, the final score was 38-28 Troy.

Appalachian State falls to 5-3 and will face Texas State (5-3) at home next Saturday.
