Re: 12th Man Dynasty: Seattle Seahawks Connected Franchise Mode
Hawks D holds Rivers, Chargers in check for victory
Marshawn Lynch carries the load for Seattle
San Diego - The Seahawks held Philip Rivers under 200 yards passing, and eventually knocked him out of the game, as the offense was efficient enough to get the win against the Chargers. Rivers had to constantly check down, and eat sacks, as the Seahawk defense was determined to not let him have a big day against their secondary. Ryan Mathews had a big day running the ball for the Chargers however, as Seattle seemed content to let him get off and not let the passing game beat them. Rivers was knocked out of the game in the fourth quarter with a forearm injury, and X-Rays confirmed afterwards the grim news for San Diego, Rivers suffered a fracture and will be out for some extended time. As for the Seahawks, Russell Wilson was an efficient 17 of 25 while Marshawn Lynch again eclipsed 100 yards rushing as they wore down the Chargers defense with their time of possession.

Injury Report
Nate Irving Out
Byron Maxwell Out
The Broncos normally high powered offense has struggled out of the gates this season, which is not a good place to be heading to Seattle to take on the Legion of Boom. Denver will no doubt be itching for revenge for last year's 43-8 annihilation in Super Bowl XLVIII. Meanwhile Seattle's defense looks like it's back up to it's old tricks early ranked 6th in the league, and number 3 against the pass. Seattle is looks equipped early to challenge to become the first back to back Superbowl champions since the New England Patriots a decade ago. This will no doubt be one of the more entertaining games this season.

Seahawks edge Broncos in Superbowl rematch
Marshawn Lynch celebrates one of his three scores
Seattle - It was definitely more of a battle than their last encounter, but at the end of the day Seattle's offense was too good on this day, and their defense held the Broncos off long enough to secure a 35-28 win in their Superbowl rematch. Marshawn Lynch continued his strong start to the season, this time rushing for three touchdowns, while Seattle's pass rush abused Peyton Manning, particularly Michael Bennett, who was able to get to Manning four times, eventually knocking him from the game late. Zac Dysert came in and played well leading a touchdown drive, but it was too little, too late for the Broncos, who fell to 1-2 early on the season, and now with quarterback questions, may be hard pressed to get back to the Superbowl and avenge last year's defeat. Seattle meanwhile presses on in their repeat quest with a perfect record so far, and a bye week on the horizon before a trip across country for a Monday night affair against RGIII, and the Washington Redskins.
Re: 12th Man Dynasty: Seattle Seahawks Connected Franchise Mode
BYE WEEK
The Seahawks head into their bye week with a perfect 3-0 mark. The story so far has been Marshawn Lynch's red hot start to the season. He has eclipsed 100 yards in each of the first three games while tallying 6 touchdowns along the way. Meanwhile the Seahawks defense seems like it hasn't lost a beat this year making top QBs Rodgers, Rivers, and Manning look average in their matchups. If Marshawn can keep carrying the rock the way he is, and the defense keeps playing up to this level, the Seahawks will be a very difficult team for anyone to beat this season.

We're already at the quarter mark in this NFL season, and there are already some big surprises shaking up the league. Some of the biggest shockers are the Packers disappointing 0-4 start to the year. The pack had championship aspirations to start the year, but those have given way quickly to hopes that they can just challenge for the post season. Meanwhile in the AFC, the biggest surprise is easily the play of QB Geno Smith in New York. His unbelievably hot start has the Jets sitting atop the AFC East at the moment. There were questions whether the starting job would even be his to start the year with Michael Vick breathing down his neck on the depth chart, but Geno is proving Rex Ryan's faith in him to be worth it, and he may now be saving the popular coaches job.
Re: 12th Man Dynasty: Seattle Seahawks Connected Franchise Mode
It's an early season battle between two undefeated teams as the Seattle Seahawks travel across the country to take on the surprising 4-0 Washington Redskins. Robert Griffin III is playing exceptionally well lately maybe getting back to his pre-injury form. He's doing it just in time to welcome in the culprits in that fateful playoff night where he tore his ACL two years ago. The matchups to watch will be the Hawks #1 defense going up against the Redskins #1 ranked offense thus far, while the 'skins #2 rush defense will try to slow down Marshawn Lynch and the Seahawks rushing attack.
