My original thread can be found
here. In Feb. 2014 my home was broken into and fortunately I came home in time where the only thing stolen was my laptop. I ended up losing my original YouTube and google+ account and created a new one. Also, life happened in general.
With the current off season, I felt this was as good of a time as ever to revisit APF2k8 and my Boston Revolution season mode. I built up a new team and reset my sliders. They are again a work in progress, though many settings for he computer are all set to 100 while most of the user settings are at 0 or 25 with the exception of kicking, fatigue and catching. I can post screen shots of my setting as they get brought more into line with difficulty.
Like my last season mode, the later I got into the season and the more accustom I got to the game play after coming from Madden, the more I have begun to dominate the AI. I have completed 9 weeks in my season mode as of this posting and have 6 weeks edited and posted on my YouTube Channel. Each video takes roughly 6 hours to transfer, edit, produce and upload. Not too bad, but somewhat intensive.
I am playing with 10 minute quarters, fast game speed and custom sliders (as mentioned earlier). Legend tends to be too easy, and even these settings are getting to that point. The problem is the same now as it was last time. The computer rarely takes shots down field to take advantages of mismatches in coverage. They will have a receiver running down the seam against cover three and will choose to check down. As a result, my defense tend to hold the computer to under 20 points while my weapons on offense are nearly unstoppable.
