Week 2 Preview

Green Bay Packers (1-0) VS Washington Redskins (1-0)
Green Bay,WI
Sunday September 15, 2013 1:00 PM
68•

Packers Offense: 1
Packers Defense: 27

Redskins Offense: 4
Redskins Defense: 26

Green Bay,WI- Week 2 is upon us and for the Green Bay Packers it's opening day at legendary Lambeau Field. Gonna be a beautiful sunny day this afternoon but the Packers explosive offense is ranked #1 in the NFL thanks to their leader Aaron Rodgers who comes in with 4 touchdowns and a passer rating of 112.3 he is sure to be not showing signs of slowing down in today's game. Rookie Running back Eddie Lacy is sure to be a sight to see with his rookie season off to a good start picking up 150 yards last week against San Francisco. Redskins Quarterback Robert Griffin III is looking to knock off the high powered Packers by looking to exploit the weak defense that gave up over 500 yards. RG3 will be looking to run as well as he looks to take advantage of a Packers defense who is off to a shaky start but can come through in the clutch as they showed last week against the 9ers. The Packers run defense will have their hands full today against RG3 and Alfred Morris.
The Packers will look to expand their lead in the NFC North and power rankings as they try to knock off a red hot Washington team that picked up a win over the Eagles last week.

Key Players

QB Aaron Rodgers 16/35 286 yards 4 TDs 0 picks 112.3 Passer Rating

ROLB Clay Matthews III 5 tackles 1 sack
FS Morgan Burnett 4 tackles 1 interception.
DT Johnny Jolly 1 interception
SS MD Jennings 1 interception

Re: ~~Kings of the North~~ The Green Bay Packers M25 Franchise

Aaron Rodgers destroys the Redskins Sunday at Lambeau Field...

Green Bay,WI- Another week in the books for the 2013 season and another blow out victory for Rodgers and the Packers. Packers crushed the Redskins on Sunday afternoon 70-37 at Lambeau Field. Rodgers was putting up what seemed like video game numbers going 18/22 for 336 yards 4 TDs and no picks for a perfect passer rating of 158.3. The Packers had the game won by the 4th quarter that second year Quarterback B.J Coleman got some work in as well going 3/5 for 2 touchdowns and no picks. He also racked up 131 yards against the Redskins defense. The Packers defense had alot to cover with Redskins Quarterback Robert Griffin III who threw for 336 yards himself and 2 touchdowns but the Packers defense was also able to pick him off 2 times as well for his troubles. Redskins Running back Alfred Morris made the Packers weak running defense pay for their sins however racking up 117 yards for 2 touchdowns on just 10 carries.
For the Packers #1 ranked Offense they made Washington think twice about coming back to Lambeau as Packers Wide Receiver Randall Cobb had a field day against Washington weak secondaries. Cobb on just 6 catches had 184 yards for 3 Touchdowns. Nelson and Finley also had a TD racking up over 157 yards and 102 yards respectfully. For now, the Redskins head home for a week 3 battle with Detroit while Rodgers and the Packers head to Cincinnati with a showdown with Andy Dalton and the Bengals.

Key stats

Packers

Aaron Rodgers 18/22 336 yards 4 touchdowns 0 ints 158.3 Passer Rating
RB (R) Eddie Lacy 22 carries 129 yards 1 TD
WR Randall Cobb 6 catches 184 yards 3 TD
WR Jordy Nelson 7 catches 157 yards 1 TD
ROLB Clay Matthews 7 tackles 1 sack

Redskins
QB Robert Griffin III 27/47 352 yards 2 TDs 2 ints 77 Passer Rating
RB Alfred Morris 10 carries 117 yards 2 TDs
TE Fred Davis 6 catches 111 yards 1 TD
CB Josh Wilson 8 tackles

Re: ~~Kings of the North~~ The Green Bay Packers M25 Franchise

First of all, great job getting wins in your first two games! To me though, it seems like its too easy for both you and your opponents to score, especially since the quarterbacks have a high amount of yards from a relatively small amount of passes (like Colin Kaepernick having 300+ yards from 12 completed passes). You may want to consider adjusting some settings so that both you and your opponents can play better defensively, and so that the games seem more realistic (both compared to real-life games and compared to other games in your franchise). Of course, we all get something different from playing Madden games, so if you enjoy the high scoring of your games, then feel free to keep the settings the same. When I play Madden though, I strive to keep the games somewhat realistic if I can (it just doesn't always happen), and It just doesn't seem realistic to me to be averaging 60+ points a game, that's all.

Thanks for the commemt bro and yeah I agree with you. Ive been adjusting sliders and settings trying to find realism too. In that Washington game, Rodgers had like a 80% completion rate which is insane lol. If you know any good sliders brother send them my way!
