Re: The Coaching Career of Jack Price

Week Four

After last week's 36-35 loss to Buffalo, Baylor is looking to right the ship. UL-Monroe is coming off a bye, and have spent 2 weeks preparing for the Bears.

"We spent a lot of time watching that Buffalo game. We watched it live, and we've spent a lot of time in the film room breaking it down. We know what Baylor doesn't like, and we're going to make them hate it," said Coach Price.

Buffalo held Baylor to just 347 yards of offense while putting up 520 of their own, so much can be said about the Bulls' performance. Coach Price believes the keys to a Warhawk victory are turnover margin and time of possession.

"Baylor loves the hurry up. They love their offense being on the field and they love to score a lot. Nothing is a better defense of the hurry up than keeping the ball away from them. If we have their defense on the field for 10-15 plays at a time we'll be better able to handle them in the fourth quarter."

Whoops, looks like you got Tulsa and Tulane mixed up on the schedule graphic.

As you said in the preview, you expected to lose to Oklahoma and Baylor. Maybe a close game or an upset over BC can get things moving in the right direction going into conference play.

Yeah I noticed that.. I guess I saw the TUL acronym on my schedule and thought Tulsa instead of Tulane lol.

BC will be a tough game.. They keep the ball on the ground and currently have the #1 defense in the nation. We'll see!

Week Five

The Warhawks head in to their second bye week with a tough task ahead of them. ULM travels to Boston College next weekend to face the number one defense in the nation. With the offensive struggles presently seen, many fans are worried about another embarrassing defeat. Coach Price declined to speak with us this week, stating he had too much work to do.
