MTSU Head Coach Named

NCAA Off Season
August 2, 2005

Middle Tennessee finds their guy
Former Tennessee Titan, Frank Wycheck, has been hired as the new head coach of the Blue Raiders football program.

MostDOPE's Diary — We got our guy!

Frank Wycheck, fresh off of retirement has accepted our offer to take over the reins and lead us onward.

The All-Pro tight end will be able to give our program a much needed boost when it comes to the recruiting aspect - as for the X's and O's - not sure just yet. There's a lot to be learned, but I think he can do it.

2005 Schedule

NCAA Off Season
August 12, 2005

2005 Schedule Released
The Blue Raiders start play in week two against the powerhouse Alabama Crimson Tide in Tuscaloosa.

MostDOPE's Diary — We get to start our season off fresh against the Crimson Tide, which is just about as hard as it gets. If we can at least hang around with them, then this could actually prove to build confidence against our lesser, in-conference opponents.

Here's the schedule:

Sept. 3: @ Alabama

Sept. 10: North Texas (Conf. Play)

Sept. 17: Akron

Oct. 1: @ Vanderbilt

Oct. 15: @ Florida Atlantic (Conf. Play)

Oct. 22: UL-Lafayette (Conf. Play)

Nov. 5: Arkansas State (Conf. Play)

Nov. 12: UL-Monroe (Conf. Play)

Nov. 19: @ N. Carolina St.

Nov. 26: @ Troy (Conf. Play)

Dec. 3: @ Florida Int'l (Conf. Play)

Will probably do a quick season preview on the nation to spike everyone's memory and familiarize themselves with the good teams and future stars of the nfl. After that I'll start the game updates. Hope everyone is enjoying so far! This game is tons of fun.

Hope I'm good to post...

I sincerely hope you go deep into this dynasty. I recently dug out my copy of NCAA '06 and continued hand-naming my rosters as I don't have a max drive or anything like that and lost my original roster file from long ago. About halfway done, and I'm hoping to binge and finish before I go back to school in two weeks. Who knows, I might start a dynasty myself once I refine the rosters and re-rate guys a bit.

Anywho, I too get nostalgia seeing some of these former college stars who were big when I first started getting obsessed with the sport like AP, Bush, Leinart, Quinn, DMC, etc.

Good times indeed....

So good luck. Banner looks nice and I love the real recruits idea.

Love that you are using '06. Like guru, I hope this dynasty goes for a long time. Layouts look really clean and nice. I will definitely be following along.
