I will be starting an NCAA 14 dynasty with a fictional coach named Archie Wagner. I have decided to take over the Memphis University.

Rules

Quarter Length - 6 Minutes
Difficulty - Heisman
Sliders - Fiddy's with personal changes
Game Speed - Slow

House Rules

I may only Redshirt Freshman and Sophmores

I may only edit 1 game per year on my schedule

I may only play 4 games per year

I can recruit anyone in state

I can recruit players in pipeline states as long as I'm in their top 7

I can recruit nationally if I am in the players top 3, or their rating is the same as my prestige

I will not be using the playoff system

NCAA will begin using soccer style conferences with relegation


How it works - Each power conference would work similarly to a country within the European system. (I'll let you determine which is which, but the Big Ten is definitely England. The SEC is ... Italy? Germany? The Big 12 is Portugal.) That means each of the five has its own set of affiliated smaller conferences. Let's walk through each tier, from the power conferences to the bottom of Division II.

Duke smacks Memphis, 38-10

Karam picked twice in opener | Trick Play fails inside the red zone for the Tigers| Duncan rushes for two touchdowns | Blue Devils advance to 2-0

Memphis,TN - In an anticipated opener for the Tigers, early hopes of knocking off the tougher, and better Duke Blue Devils were crushed as the Devils cruised to a 21-0 lead before the Tigers even smelled the other side of the field.

After losing the coin toss, the Tigers had to start with the ball, and it wasn't pretty. After a quick 3 and out the Blue Devils drove down the field before Alias ran it in for a touchdown. Jela Duncan led the Blue Devils, carrying the ball 14 times for a total of 198 yards. He also added two touchdowns for his team. Coach Archie Wagner said "He is one of the better running backs we will see this year. Add that with their above average offensive lines, it is a very tough duo to stop. We need to get stronger in the trenches to compete however."

Memphis QB Jacob Karem played an average game according to himself. Jacob went 21/41, and threw two INT's. He was a bright spot however, because he was the only way the team moved the ball down the field. He has enough weapons around him, but he needs to hit the open receivers. A few times tonight he just flat out missed the guy. We are not sure if it was timing or what, but hopefully it is fixed in the near future. Nobody on the defensive side of the ball stood out, but Baker Holler did add an interception. The Memphis Tigers will square off with a much more even opponent in ECU next.
