Thanks guys! I'm excited to finally get my feet wet in the division. The Packers have a bye week now, so a win would tie them. A win would also sweep the series against the Lions. And, Chicago is the only stadium in which I have never played a game at in my Madden career, which is 10 years long.

I've really only had dynasties going with AFC teams, meaning I would only play NFC North teams once every 4 seasons. I hated Madden 13, but other than that, here are the list of the team's I've used in Madden over the years:

Vikings
Browns
Colts
Jets
Giants
Patriots

So, it just so happens that I haven't had to play a road game in Chicago, or Seattle, for that matter.

To upgrade the position. I made even stranger moves after the Lions game. Stay tuned.

Vikings Gameday Preview: Week 7

There's nothing better that Dey-twah, at least to Coach Freday. Remember that he won 2 MAC titles in this building when he was at Bowling Green.

At least on paper, it seems like this is a good opportunity for the Vikings to regain the confidence that had been shaken by two straight losses. I mean, for one thing, this is Coach Freday's building. The last time he played there, he emerged as a MAC champion 7 OTs later. For another thing, the Lions are a little bit beaten up. For a third thing, we learned last time the Lions played the Vikings that the Lions can't manage the clock. I don't want to sound too confident here, but I like the chances to stop this losing streak at 2, before it can grow.

So, Matthew Stafford is hurt, and Jim Caldwell doesn't seem to understand that Ameer Abdullah is a better back than Joique Bell, since he still has Abdullah 3rd on the running back depth chart. But Megatron doesn't care. He'll catch balls from whoever is throwing them, even if it happens to be Kellen Moore. And, ya know, Golden Tate III is kinda the same way. They're not picky. And with the behemoth gone on defense, there's less intimidating figures than there were before. Haloti Ngata is a great run stopper, but is far from the dominance the Suh experienced in his tenure in Dey-twah. The linebacking core features Brandon Spikes, Stephen Tulloch and DeAndre Levy, while Glover Quin and James Ihedigbo patrol the secondary. Nonetheless, I like the Vikes chances.

Good luck against Detroit! Hopefully some of that Bowling Green magic is still in the building!
