2032 - Virginia Cavaliers (10-3, 6-3, HC)

REVIEW:
We finished the regular season #1 in the polls but I did not put us into the playoffs. We did not win our division and finished with three loses. The final polls did not update after the Bowl Games but Duke beat BYU to claim the National Championship. Following the season Head Coach Calvin Wright left Duke to take over at Clemson where he was OC in 2030. Dabo Swinney won back to back National Championships in 2028-2029 but went 4-8 in 2031 and 7-6 in 2032. When Coach Wright won at Duke many boosters decided it was time for Dabo to go and Calvin was in.

RECRUITS CAREER PROJECTIONS:
Virginia had the #28 overall recruiting class and #6 class in the ACC. After the season DC Brian Young left to take the head coaching job at Indiana. Former Cincinnati Head Coach Jason Candle will replace him. Candle was on coach Rock's staff for six years at Cal.

WR Damon Ferguson (6'2, 213, 91 ovr) was drafted in the 4th round by the Cleveland Browns. Freshman DE Johnny Burch (69 ovr) transferred to Georgia while OG Sean Smith transferred to Vanderbilt. Both players felt they were buried on the depth chart. Player Progression/Regression: So-Rs HB Cody Palmer (-2, 74), So-Rs HB Ronnie Cooper (-3, 79), Sr-Rs DE Jamaal Maxwell (-3, 77), Fr-Rs HB Aaron Martin (+9, 85)

2033 - Virginia Cavaliers (13-2, 9-1, HC)

REVIEW:
2033 marked Coach Brian Rock's 8th season with the Virginia Cavaliers and 21st overall. This was a season of many first at UVA, the first ACC Atlantic Championship, first ACC Championship, first playoff appearance, first National Championship game appearance and first National Championship! It has taken a long time finally win it all!

RECRUITS CAREER PROJECTIONS:

Virginia had the #1 overall recruiting class and #1 class in the ACC. The class looks good from a distance but as you examine it more closely many of the players were busts and only one of the players (of the 14 I signed) gained any points during scouting. It went as far as cutting 4* QB Jamie Nugent (57, -10). After the season DC Jason Candle left to take of as the Head Coach of USC. Former Middle Tennessee State Head Coach Jacob Barber, who was fired after the season, will take over the DC duties next year.

This was a huge year for Cavaliers getting drafted. QB George Mitchell (99, Jacksonville), LT Lawrence James (95, San Francisco) and TE Matt Parham (93, Los Angeles) were all drafted in the first round while CB Matt Quinn (92, Baltimore) was drafted in the second round, HB Dwayne Alexander (94, Carolina) and CB David Chandler (91, Oakland) were draft in the third round. DT Jeremy Parham (89, New England) was drafted in the 4th round while back up QB Lawrence Morton (92, Atlanta) had many impressive workouts and was able to get drafted in the 7th round.

To go along with the National Championship, Virginia also had 6 All-Americans this year. Sr LT Lawrence James (1st), Sr-Rs P Babatunde Grant (2nd), Jr-Rs OLB Antonio Mackey (2nd), Jr-Rs DE Jammal Brown (2nd), Fr-Rs CB Jermaine Cox (Fr) and Fr-Rs HB Aaron Martin (Fr)

Player Progression/Regression: Sr-Rs RT Jon Joseph (-4, 83), Sr-Rs OLB Scott House (-2, 81), Sr WR Roddy Hicks (-1, 93), Fr CB Chris Richard (+7, 73)

2034 - Virginia Cavaliers (11-2, 7-2, HC)

REVIEW:
Virginia was looking at a shot to repeat as ACC Atlantic Champions but that went out the window on a failed 2 pt conversion with 0:28 left against Clemson. The Tigers won 28-26. Virginia went on to finish 2nd in the Atlantic and received and invite to the Orange Bowl where they defeated Rutgers 34-17. This is the third straight season the Cavaliers have finished with double digit wins and have won three straight New Year's Six Bowl games.

RECRUITS CAREER PROJECTIONS:
Virginia had the #11 overall recruiting class and #3 class in the ACC. After the season DC Jacob Barber left to take over as the Head Coach of the San Diego State Aztecs. Former Tulsa Head Coach Matt Campbell, who was fired after the season, will take over the DC duties next year.

FS Joe Peterson (99) was selected in the first round by the Pittsburgh Steelers. OLB Dane Dickson (73) transferred to Marshall following the season. Sr-Rs DE Jammal Brown was named second team All-American.

Player Progression/Regression: Fr SS Jon Tremblay (-2, 66), Sr-Rs TE James Nelson (-2, 81), Jr-Rs RG Josh Nelson (-2, 82), Jr-Rs LG Ryan Cain (+5, 93)
