College Football Weekly Rundown

What a wild week one we had as the underdogs took college footballs kickoff by storm. FIVE of the top 10 teams in the Nation suffered their first losses of the season, including THREE of the top 5 teams!

First, lets head to down to Death Valley where Clemson's meal included Johnny Manziel and his Aggie outlaws. The score makes the game seem much closer than this one actually was, with Clemson winning 48-41. To put this in perspective, Clemson was winning 38-24 going into the 2nd half. The number one team in the nation let up 38 points in one half! Manziel's 25-37, 361 yards, 4 TD's is not good enough here as Clemson knocks off the number one team in the country coming into the weekend.

Next, we head to Notre Dame as they took on the 2014 National Championship winners, the Texas Longhorns in the game of the week. The hype around this one was well deserved, as this one came down to the wire. The Longhorns held the Fighting Irish off at home, winning 31-26 with a game-ending 4th down stand.

Perhaps the most disappointing game this week was Wisconsin v.s. Alabama. The Badgers rolled right through the Tide, shocking every fan in Tuscaloosa, winning 41-7.

Game Notes
First game of the year for the Scarlet Knights, who are still looking to prove themselves after joining the Big 10. Expect them to start off on the right foot here tonight, as Tulsa's defense won't be able to keep up with the explosiveness of the Rutgers' backfield.
