AFC

Andy Dalton, CIN - 28/43, 327 Yards, 4 TD

Notable Injuries

Buccaneers DT Gerald McCoy - Fractured Elbow (11 Weeks)
Rams TE Jared Cook - Upper Arm Fracture (4 Weeks)
Saints DE Cameron Jordan - Broken Wrist (7 Weeks)
Texans DT Vince Wilfork - Dislocated Ankle (4 Weeks)

Notable Transactions

RE-SIGININGS

Ravens - Signed G Marshal Yanda to five year/$34M contract.

TRADES

Cardinals Receive:
OLB Melvin Ingram
Chargers Receive: SS Tony Jefferson

Essentially, the Cardinals robbed the Chargers. Jefferson doesn't really fill a need in San Diego, and with Deone Bucannon manning the strong safety position, they could stand to part with Jefferson. Getting Ingram was huge for the Cardinals with Lamarr Woodley injured.

Buccaneers Receive: 2017 3rd Round Pick
Texans Receive: DT Clinton McDonald

Both teams have their star defensive tackles injured, so it may be confusing to why the Bucs traded away McDonald, a key backup. Akeem Spence and Henry Melton are trusted with manning the middle in Gerald McCoy's absence, so McDonald being traded wasn't too much of a surprise to some. THe Texans will need him more with their lack of depth on the defensive line.

Re: Back To Square One - CaziusCray's Tennessee Titans (Madden 16)

WEEK 3: COLTS @ TITANS PREVIEW

The Skinny

Marcus Mariota makes his home debut as the Titans take on their bitter divisional rivals. This is essentially a must-win game for the Indianapolis Colts, who are sitting at 0-2 after losing to the Jets on Monday Night.

When The Titans Have The Ball

Mariota had a much better game against the Browns last week, but Jeremiah Poutasi, the teams right tackle, got absolutely abused by Barkevious Mingo. This week, he takes on Robert Mathis, one of the leagues best pass rushers. If the Titans have any shot at beating the Colts, it starts with neutralizing Mathis.

The Colts boast the fourth-worst run defense in the league. That is great news for Terrance West and Dexter McCluster, who are both coming off great performances against the Browns.

When The Colts Have The Ball

Andrew Luck, one of the premier quarterbacks in the league, has not played well at all this season. He threw four interceptions in a Week 1 loss to the Bills, and was not able to throw a single touchdown pass against the Jets.

Ideally, the Colts may want to run the ball against this defense in order to take the pressure off of Luck, but the Titans have the third-best rush defense in the league. Frank Gore must find his rhythm, or it could be a long day for this Colts offense.

Final Score Prediction: Titans 28, Colts 24

The Titans are coming off of a two win season, while the Colts are coming off of a season where they were one game away from a Super Bowl. Thus, the Colts have a lot more to lose in this game than the Titans do. Look for the Titans to play a lot more loose, while the Colts play with more pressure on them.

Injury Report

Titans
HB Bishop Sankey (Ribs)
T Taylor Lewan (Shoulder)

Colts
FS Dwight Lowery (Hamstring)
G Hugh Thornton (Groin)

TITANS SURVIVE SHOOTOUT AS COLTS FALL TO 0-3

Titans 35, Colts 27

It Was Over When: After a Colts touchdown, the Titans went on to waste the final 4:50 of the game with a long drive. With 1:37 left in the game, and the Colts out of timeouts, Marcus Mariota completed a 10-yard pass to Jalston Fowler on 3rd down in order to convert a first down, ending the Colts' slim chances of a comeback.

Re: Back To Square One - CaziusCray's Tennessee Titans (Madden 16)

West Out At Least Three Weeks

Nashville, TN - The Tennessee Titans will be without their leading rusher for the next few games.

Terrance West suffered a mild shoulder tear in Sunday's victory over the Colts, and will miss the next two games.

West, who has rushed for 225 yards and a touchdown on 48 carries through three games, suffered the injury in the third quarter of the 35-27 victory.

It's unknown who will replace West as the starting running back, although the teams starter from last season, Bishop Sankey, should be returning for the teams' Week 5 matchup against the Buffalo Bills.

Re: Back To Square One - CaziusCray's Tennessee Titans (Madden 16)

WEEK 4: BILLS @ TITANS PREVIEW

The Skinny

The undefeated Buffalo Bills head into Nashville to take on the Titans in what should be a defensive struggle between two of the league's premier defenses.

When The Titans Have The Ball

Marcus Mariota has yet to face a defense as elite as that of the Buffalo Bills. With a front that includes Jerry Hughes, Marcell Dareus, and Mario Williams, this offensive line may struggle with protecting Mariota.

However, the secondary may prove to be the Achilles heel, with Stephon Gilmore listed as out. Kendall Wright, who did not register a catch in the team's last game against the Colts, likely will be matched up with the aging Leodis McKelvin. Wright is much faster, so this could prove to be a mismatch.

Without Terrence West, the Titans may lost some power in the run game, but they will get extra speed with Bishop Sankey set to make his season debut.

When The Bills Have The Ball

EJ Manuel hasn't been bad as the Bills' starting quarterback thus far, and has been just effective enough to manage the game for the offense. He has a solid corps of receivers in Percy Harvin, Sammy Watkins, and Robert Woods, so he doesn't lack targets.

The team's real strength is rushing the ball with LeSean McCoy and Boobie Dixon. If those two can get started against this stingy run defense, the game should open up for Manuel.

Final Score Prediction: Titans 17, Bills 14

This game will be a defensive struggle from start to finish, but Mariota will give the Titans just enough of a push over the edge to hand the Bills their first loss of the season.

Injury Report

Titans
HB Terrance West (Shoulder)

Bills
G Richie Incognito (Shoulder)
WR Dezmin Lewis (Ankle)
CB Stephon Gilmore (Shoulder)
FS Duke Williams (Bicep)
