NO. 6 OREGON HOLDS OFF NO. 7 GEORGIA TECH IN A NIP & TUCK BATTLE

ORLANDO, FL - Both starting quarterbacks rushed for their team's only touchdown, but it will be Vernon Adams Jr. and the Oregon Ducks heading to the Sugar Bowl for a chance to play in the BCS National Championship Game.

After exchanging field goals in the first half, Adams scored on a 2-yard scramble to put the Ducks up 10-3 with 1:26 left in the third quarter.

On the ensuing drive, Georgia Tech duel threat Justin Thomas stole the spotlight with an explosive 75-yarder to even the score at 10 going into the final quarter.

Unfortunately for the Yellow Jackets, the only points scored in the fourth was a 40-yard field goal by Matt Wogan that ended up being the game-winner.

With 4:49 left to play, Georgia Tech had more than enough time to tie or take the lead, but the Oregon defense held on.

East Regional Playoff Preview: South Florida (10-3) vs. #1 Alabama (11-2)

Herby choosing South Florida over top ranked Alabama might be glitch in the game, but of course, stranger things have happened on the gridiron.

The Bulls got off to an 8-0 start but dropped three of their last five games. They defeated Tulsa 49-23 to win the American Athletic Conference and its automatic bid.

You know it's been an insane year in college football when the No. 1 team in the country has two losses going into the bowl season.

After falling to 5-2 with early season losses to Mississippi (27-30 OT) and No. 18 Kentucky (29-35), Alabama went on to win their next seven games, including a 33-28 triumph over No. 11 Tennessee in the SEC Championship Game.

Re: The BCS Playoffs aka December Madness

You have my attention. I'll be following along.

Are you playing these games in coach mode? Or just starting then moving your controller to the middle and watching the 2 CPU teams battle it out?

BCS Midwest Regional Playoff: Iowa (9-4) vs. #2 Oklahoma (11-1)

Kirk Herbstreit picked an underdog to win every quarterfinal game, he's 1-2 so far.

No. 2 Oklahoma started the season on a 9-0 tear before suffering a 16-10 loss to Iowa State in front of a stunned home crowd.

The Sooners would go on to win their next two games by a combined score of 73-6 to clinch the Big 12 title.

Oklahoma's offense will be sparked by a Top 10 ground attack featuring Heisman Trophy winner Samaje Perine, who rushed for 1585 yards and 16 touchdowns this season.

Iowa got off to an 8-1 start then hit a three-game losing skid going into the Big Ten Championship game against heavily favored Michigan State.

Trailing 24-22 with 1:16 left to play, Tevaun Smith caught a 69-yard bomb from C.J. Beathard for the touchdown that clinched the Hawkeye's playoff bid.

Re: The BCS Playoffs aka December Madness

USF almost pulled off a huge upset there. Their defense really kept them in that game

No lie. It was a hard fought effort by USF, but that 52-yard TD did them in.

Thanks for the feedback, I really appreciate it.
