#11 Georgia Tech Escapes in Overtime
North Carolina gave the Yellowjackets a scare but came up short 34-31. UNC tied the game at 28 with 1:47 to go. In overtime the Tar Heels got the ball first and settled for a field goal. Four plays later the Yellowjackets found the endzone and escaped.

#20 Oklahoma Beats #15 Arkansas 28-24
The Sooners pulled off a solid non-conference win over the Razorbacks despite going -3 in the turnover margin. The Sooners were 4/5 in the redzone on the afternoon.

#19 USC Dominates #4 Oregon
USC beat Oregon 42-25. Cody Kessler was 9/15 on the night with 134 yards and 3 touchdowns. Two Vernon Adams Jr. interceptions and a 38% third down conversion didn't do the Ducks any favors.

Late Field Goal Lifts Auburn
A field goal with 1:26 to play helped give #16 Auburn a 23-21 win over#17 LSU. Both offenses struggled on the afternoon, but 4 turnovers proved to be costly for LSU.

College Gameday
#5 Michigan State pulled off a massive victory over rival #8 Notre Dame by a score of 21-18. Michigan State face TWENTY third down attempts on the night, converting 12 of them. Notre Dame was 2-9 on third down which proved to be the difference.
