The Wildcats head to South Bend to take on the #1 ranked Fighting Irish of Notre Dame in what should be their hardest game of the year. This week is a great chance for the Wildcats to show how far they've come from last year. Sadly that would not be the case on this September afternoon in Indiana.
The Fighting Irish are coming off a National Championship and look strong in their run towards back to back titles. They showed their dominance in this game from the first drive. C.J. Prosise threw his hat in the Heisman Race for this year with his performance against the Wildcats. The ND running back would end the game with 5 TDs and just over 200 yards. Most of these stats were racked up in a first half that saw the Fighting Irish take a 38-6 into the break.
The Wildcats would show some life in the 2nd half of this one finding their defense. The one strong point that the Wildcats can take from this game is their running game was once again very effective. Turnovers buried this team early in the game to a point of no return. Despite the 2nd half revival Northwestern surged with it wasn't enough to bring this game back. The Fighting Irish take down the Wildcats at home 52-25.
I'll admit after the last touchdown in the 2nd quarter I gave up on this game. The controller just about found its way out the window. I simmed the 2nd half so that is probably why my team showed some life.

Sadly I think this dynasty has come to an end. I am just way too burnt out on posting dynasty updates. I'll probably keep a NCAA series going on my YouTube channel, but the number of posts I like to make for these just becomes a burden and that isn't why I want to do these. Thanks to you that read this while it was going. I hope you will come over to my YouTube channel and keep an eye on any NCAA content I put up there.
