These teams are evenly matched both talent-wise and stats-wise, so the only reason behind a UTSA victory will be their slight homefield advantage.

Thanks! I already played Rice, and it was a very close game. You'll see whether or not we came out on top.

UTSA, yes! How good/bad is their roster in this version (I can't recall what you're working with?)

Went to college in SA and have always been intrigued by dusting off the 360 sticks and getting in some roadrunner action, I know it's just a temporary stuff for you, but it's still fun to see for awhile. Looking forward to seeing more, great stuff so far!

The roster is somewhere in the mid-high 60s I believe. The defense is a 70-71, and that's the highlight of our team!

The offense has been a little up and down so far. We'll be good against Texas State, bad against Arizona, good against CMU, then pretty bad again against Marshall. Thanks for the comment!

Re: Jake Carlisle-Becoming a Spartan

UTSA HOLDS ON VS RICE; ADVANCES TO 4-1

UTSA won a hard fought game against in-state rival Rice. Despite only having one win, this Owls squad played tough all game, but was helped out by the early injury to Blake Bogenschutz.

Bogenschutz's injury has not yet been disclosed by Larry Coker, but sources say he will likely be inactive for UTSA's next game vs USC.

David Sturm played respectably after the injury to Bogenschutz, but UTSA had to lean on Corbin White and Brian Vaughn on the ground to support their offense. Rice made a comeback in the 2nd half, but the Roadrunner defense held just enough to get the victory.

Jaylon Henderson has said that he will play vs USC next week; however, he still has not confirmed or denied the report that he won't play next year.

The Roadrunners will travel to Los Angeles to play the Men of Troy next week; go Roadrunners!

Note: After this week, if I don't think the Game of the Week (GOTW) is deserving of the title, like this week (3-2 unranked Florida vs #18 LSU, I will choose a different one. This week, I would've picked Mizzou vs UGA, since that was two ranked teams.
