I can get with this idea. Before each season I will announce which games will be full games. As the Dynasty progresses that could change based on the season. For season 1 I will make UL-Lafayette, UL-Monroe and Southern the full games.

Thanks for checking in. Always great to have a Grambling fan following. This season will kickoff either tomorrow or Saturday so you will get to see if I'm able to lead this GMen to greatness.

Need to focus on the running game and establish it early. Or else, based off that first game, it's gonna be a long season.

We have to get better O-Line play for sure..No holes to run or time to pass. This could be a very long season

Re: #GRAMFAM: A Grambling State Dynasty (NCAA '14)

Albuquerque, NM: Grambling traveled to face the Lobos of New Mexico in a battle of winless teams. The Tigers would struggle early on as they could get nothing going in the first quarter. The Offense was handicapped by turnovers once again. While New Mexico was able to mount a scoring drive in the first quarter as QB McCown worked the Grambling Defense with running ability and some short quick passes. In the 2nd Quarter the Tigers Offense still struggled behind turnovers and lack luster O-Line play. New Mexico would score early in the quarter on a 22 yard scamper by McCown. Grambing would finally get on the score board right before with the half when QB Farris found WR Caldwell for a 23 yard strike with 8 seconds left to play. In the 2nd Half a QB change would be made and what a difference it would make. Tramaine Blake would provide a spark leading Grambling to a score midway through the 3rd Quarter. Not to be out done New Mexico would answer with a scoring drive of their own on their next possession. The teams would trade scoring drives in the 4th with the Lobos taking a 31-28 lead on a Adams FG with 1:14 left to play in the game. Blake had two timeouts to work with and the team was feeling great as the Offense started their drive. Things would start out well, until Blake misread the Lobo Defense looking for WR Craig on a deep pass CB Foley would make him pay as he went up and grabbed the Interception to seal the victory for New Mexico.

Re: #GRAMFAM: A Grambling State Dynasty (NCAA '14)

Blake was having a game up until that final interception! Kept the game close despite 4 turnovers which is encouraging, but well, that doesn't win ball games.

Keeping Blake in to start next week?
