Your roster actually isn't THAT bad. You have some good pieces to work with. What kind of speed does Rivera have? He and your running back combo should be able to keep you competitive early on.

I always thought Hawaii made good sense as an independent, so that was the thought behind that move. Plus it allowed me to add some schools closer to my neck of the woods to the MWC. The Rainbow Warriors have a good schedule this year though. The local fans should be excited.

The schedule should be interesting. NW Mizzou St should be a litmus test. Iowa & Baylor will be blowouts (probably). The conference schedule is interesting. Boise State & Air Force are expected to be at the top, but nearby Tulsa should give them a run for their money. SDSU is in play as well.

I just hope we get bowl eligible.

Rivera has 79 speed, 82 acceleration. He's a pretty good ball-carrier, but his passing skills need work. Not the most accurate and he's got a noodle arm. We'll most likely be a run-first team.

Loving the work you are doing before the dynasty has actually begun. Interesting roster, but it has some work to do. Did you use the random name feature on Teambuilder? Loving some of the names that it gave if you did.

I used TeamBuilder's random name generator. I just kept running it until it gave me a set of names that I liked. Took a while...

Same thing happened with me, but I got to the point where I could not deal with the names that they were giving me, so I ended up changing 90% of them. I don't like playing with players, especially if they're created, if they don't have cool names.

The West Division looks particularly strong this year, with Boise State & Utah State now in the fold. The Mountain Division looks particularly weak, with 5 of its teams ranking in the Bottom 6 of the conference overall.
