Tallahassee, FL --- The Florida State Seminoles started off their season with a statement victory over the Pittsburgh Panthers. The 42-3 win was highlighted by a huge day offensively from Jesus Wilson, who contributed 3 touchdowns and 95 yards. Dalvin Cook continued his great career with 216 yards on 28 carries.
The Noles defense was stout, and Pitt had trouble moving the ball all game. Allowing just 197 yards and 3 points, Jimbo Fisher has to be excited about his team's chances as the season continues. Florida State has a huge test next week with a neutral site game against #11 Ole Miss.
