Re: Charging up the Bolts (Madden 17, PS4)

2018 NFL DRAFT

AFC EAST

Bills.jpg
Well, the Bills will be competitive this season I believe. They went and got WR Davante Adams and LG Joel Bitonio to go with McCoy and Tyrod Taylor and Sammy Watkins. The offense will be good.

Dolphins.jpg
With a new coach in Miami, the Phins went with a linebacker with the 2nd overall pick. A pretty solid draft for Miami, let’s see what it results in.

Jets.jpg
The Jets picked up WR Marqise Lee out of free agency giving 2nd year QB Reed Fleener another target to throw to. Only 3 picks in this years draft and they went RT Eduardo Golliday with the 11th overall pick to get an 80 overall run blocker.

Patriots.jpg
The Patriots held a bunch of picks like they normally do but their 32nd pick wasn’t the best player they drafted. They sure tried to solidify their secondary, drafting two SS and a FS, all 71 and above overalls.

Re: Charging up the Bolts (Madden 17, PS4)

2018 NFL Draft

AFC NORTH

Bengals.jpg
2 seasons removed from winning a super bowl. Bengals signed CB Phillip Gaines in FA. For only having 4 picks, they drafted ok.

Browns.jpg
Browns top pick, 4th overall, was a cornerback. He’s rated 79 overall and is known to be a true man to man corner. Not sure if Thomas Breaston will start, but he along with Joe Haden could be trouble for offenses

Steelers.jpg
Pittsburgh went with a middle linebacker in the first round. Very good speed and agility for the run stopper out of Texas A & M.

Ravens.jpg
With John Fox now in at head coach in Baltimore, we’ll see if he can lead them to a playoff game at least. They took a Connor Leach with the 13th overall pick who plays center. But I think the real question here is who will he be hiking the ball to if he were to start….Drew Brees or Joe Flacco???

Re: Charging up the Bolts (Madden 17, PS4)

2018 NFL Draft

AFC SOUTH

Colts.jpg
It’s a quarterback league and he needs to be protected so the Colts went out and took two Left Guards in the first two rounds. Dillon Fine was their first choice and is rated 75 overall and is a pass blocker.

Jaguars.jpg
Taylor Hadnot was the Jaguars first choice, a versatile left end who fits the Jaguars 3-4 scheme.

Texans.jpg
DeMarco Sampy and DeAndre Hopkins could be a nasty 1-2 punch for Brock osweiler to throw to. Sampy runs good routes and his speed should compliment that. Texans went with a lot of speed in this draft, including tight end B. Leary. Pretty decent draft for the Texans.

Titans.jpg
Titans also decided to go with a strong safety for their first pick, Jorge Starling rated 80 overall out of Wisconsin. Also drafted a free safety, G. Lippett in the 7th round rated a 71, also speedy.

2018 NFL Draft

AFC West

Broncos.jpg
Denver didn’t make a splash pick in the first round, but did draft a speedy wider receiver in the 6th.

Chiefs.jpg
Curtis Wyms out of LSU was picked 19th by Kansas City. A run blocking right guard with lots of strength.

Raiders.jpg
Raiders had themselves a pretty decent draft. Not one draft pick under 70 overall. They took middle linebacker Austin Thomas from Michigan State. Thomas also possess good pass coverage.

Re: Charging up the Bolts (Madden 17, PS4)

2018 NFL Draft

NFC EAST

Cowboys.jpg
Not sure what Dallas is doing. They have Tony Romo, backing him up is Dak Prescott and now they have drafted, at number 15, Julius McMichael, a pocket passer out of Wisconsin. McMichael was one of the top 3 QBS in this years draft class. Let’s see how this pans out. The Cowboys did draft to speedy conerbacks.

Eagles.jpg
Eagles went left tackle at #20. Jawan Walden moves a little slow but is a balanced tackle.

Giants.jpg
DeVaughn Randle from Florida State is rated 81 overall. At #8, that was a fine pick for the g-men. A balanced corner should get a good shot at starting in New York

Redskins.jpg
Not many draft picks for Washington. Jose Scandrick was a good one though. Drafted #26 and an 80 overall, a free safety from Auburn.

Re: Charging up the Bolts (Madden 17, PS4)

2018 NFL Draft

NFC NORTH

Bears.jpg
Bears traded with the London Black Knights and went with QB Margarito Terry with the 7th pick. Terry will likely backup Sam Bradford who the Bears just signed. Rated 80 overall. And a solid pick in the second round, a wide receiver. E Whitworth, crazy speed.

Lions.jpg
Lions sixth pick, R. Carson has top speed. Another weapon for Stafford to throw to. Derek Tobin was their first round pick, a run stopping middle linebacker from Wisconsin

Packers (2).jpg

Vikings.jpg

Re: Charging up the Bolts (Madden 17, PS4)

2018 NFL Draft

NFC WEST

49ers.jpg

Cardinals.jpg
Cardinals to an exceptional talent with the 24th pick, a right guard from Wisconsin, Stephen Lloyd rated at 77

Rams.jpg
Rams went hard in the draft for secondary. 4 of their 6 picks were secondary. Going by speed, their best pick out of the four might have come in the second round, a free safety M. Grayson

Seahawks.jpg
