Re: Bringing Lombardi Home: A Green Bay Packers Franchise (Madden 18)

Week 11 Packers (8-1) vs. Philadelphia Eagles (3-6)

Pregame Thoughts: We sit at 8-1, a couple games up in the North as they Bears and Vikings are tied at 6-3 & the Lions are 5-4. Philly is a fairly sound team, they won the East in 2017 with much of the same roster as we will see today. The Carson Wentz (83) project didn't take off like many had hoped, but a defense littered with talent makes up for it. Fletcher Cox (96) & Brandon Graham (94) may be the best two punch defensive line duo in the NFC & will be a lot for our line to deal with, especially with Bryan Bulaga out. (R) Saquon Barkley (83) leads the charge for NFC Rookie of the Year at the moment, as well.

Game Result: 17-20 Loss
Game Injuries: Morgan Burnett (5 Weeks), Bryan Bulaga (2 Weeks), Ha Ha Clinton-Dix (1 Week), Martellus Bennett (1 Week)
Game MVP: (R) Saquon Barkley (29 attempts, 100 yards, 1 TD)
Game Thoughts: We've played some very close games the last few weeks & this continued the trend. The Eagles played a really tough game, pounding the rock pretty hard behind their rookie & having Brandon Graham (5 tackles, 1.0 sack) & Jordan Hicks (12 tackles) all over the field on defense. Aaron Rodgers (24/35, 224 yards, 1 INT) looked damn near perfect prior to the Week 7 BYE, but has been pretty rough since then, throwing 6 INT's in the last 4 weeks. Ty Montgomery (23 attempts, 112 yards, 2 TD) did work on the ground, but in the end, the pick lost us the game. Shaun Dion Hamilton (9 tackles, 1 TFL, 1.0 sack) & (R) Tremaine Edmunds (3 tackles, 1 TFL, 0.5 sack) got after Carson Wentz (14/27, 194 yards, 1 TD) a few times in the loss.

Postgame Thoughts: I think we beat ourselves today a bit more than Philly really came out & gave it to us. We have got to sure up the passing woes as they have pretty much been our downfall in both losses so far this season.

Week 12 Packers (8-2) vs. Denver Broncos (3-7)

Pregame Thoughts: The chips haven't fallen the way of Denver all season behind Teddy Bridgewater (83). Their defense, led by Von Miller (99), Chris Harris Jr (95), and Aqib Talib (91), is still as scary as it was in 2017. Bridgewater has got 2018's Receiver of the Year, Demaryius Thomas (87) to look to, should be a tough one to defend.

Game Result: 34-38 Loss
Game Injuries: Morgan Burnett (4 Weeks), Bryan Bulaga (1 Week)
Game MVP: Teddy Bridgewater (28/40, 311 yards, 5 TD, 2 INT)
Game Thoughts: It's been quite a while...actually, this may be the most TD's we have ever given up through the air. Bridgewater looked on point as both of our offenses traded blows through the first 3 quarters of the game. Ty Montgomery (18 attempts, 88 yards, 2 TD), Aaron Rodgers (20/26, 237 yards, 1 INT, 6 attempts, 25 yards, 1 TD), and Jamaal Williams (5 attempts, 20 yards, 1 TD), all recorded scores on the ground. Von Miller (10 tackles, 2.5 sacks) & Shaun Dion Hamilton (19 tackles, 2.0 sacks) lit things up in the backfield & Ha Ha Clinton-Dix (8 tackles, 2 TFL, 1 INT) looked stellar in his return to the field. With under a minute to go, Rodgers tried to lead a game winning drive, but was once again picked off & the game was no more.

Postgame Thoughts: Another loss due to a late game INT. I think the main problem is that we have been so focused on the run game this year that we when fall back to the passing attack, things are a bit rusty. The loss marks our second straight as we fall to 8-3 after a 7-0 start. Things won't get much easier as we host Seattle & their vaunted "Legion of Boom".

Re: Bringing Lombardi Home: A Green Bay Packers Franchise (Madden 18)

Below are the current standings entering Week 13 of the 2019 NFL Season:

AFC North
1. (#8) Pittsburgh Steelers (7-4)
2. (#16) Cincinnati Bengals (6-5)
3. (#28) Cleveland Browns (3-8)
4. (#29) Baltimore Ravens (3-8)

Pittsburgh is out in front in the North, no huge surprise there. They've got the #2 offense at the moment & Le'Veon Bell looks primed up to win his 3rd straight AFC Rushing title. As long as the Steelers' defense shows up at the stadium, they'll probably win the North. Cincinnati is battling with Houston, New England, and Buffalo, for a Wild Card spot. Cleveland and Baltimore likely have the offseason to look forward to.

AFC South
1. (#5) Jacksonville Jaguars (8-3)
2. (#14) Houston Texans (6-5)
3. (#18) Indianapolis Colts (5-6)
4. (#23) Tennessee Titans (4-7)

The Jags have a couple game lead heading into Week 13 thanks in large part to their defense. The Jags D is tied for #2 in the NFL with Minnesota & the Chargers. Every season this team is getting better... Houston has a big opportunity to "figure it out" this season as they are one game over .500 heading into the final leg. Indy isn't too far behind & Tennessee is still dealing with Super Bowl blues.

AFC East
1. (#2) New York Jets (8-2-1)
2. (#7) New England Patriots (7-4)
3. (#13) Buffalo Bills (6-5)
4. (#27) Miami Dolphins (3-7-1)

The...Jets? Baker Mayfield has transformed this team overnight it seems as they got into the playoffs last year at 9-7 & currently lead the East with 5 weeks to go. Life after Tom Brady isn't so bad, eh New England? (R) Nick Fitzgerald looks pretty good so far & is slated to win the AFC Offensive Rookie award as the Pats lead the Wild Card race. Not too far behind is Buffalo, they sit in a three way tie with Houston & Cincy.

AFC West
1. (#9) Los Angeles Chargers (7-4)
2. (#25) Denver Broncos (4-7)
3. (#26) Oakland Raiders (4-7)
4. (#31) Kansas City Chiefs (2-9)

The reigning Super Bowl Champs looked iffy back in Week 8 when they were 3-4. The Chargers ride a 4 game winning streak heading into Week 13 & look as hot as ever. Denver, Oakland, and Kansas City, all feel the wrath of LA.

NFC North
1. (#3) Green Bay Packers (8-3)
2. (#10) Chicago Bears (7-4)
3. (#11) Minnesota Vikings (7-4)
4. (#21) Detroit Lions (5-6)

Of course, Detroit has a down year & Chicago & Minnesota are competitive. Our recent two losses don't help our cause & playing Seattle next is even worse. Thankfully, we are 3-0 in the North & I feel pretty dang confident about beating Chicago a second time. We will take on Detroit one week later & Minnesota to finish out the season.

NFC South
1. (#6) Atlanta Falcons (8-3)
2. (#12) Carolina Panthers (6-5)
3. (#24) Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-7)
4. (#30) New Orleans Saints (3-8)

Atlanta is a well oiled machine that just keeps on going. 2017 MVP Matt Ryan and his offense is out in front of the South, which is pretty talented, I may add. Carolina is tied with Seattle and LA right now, all three teams, however, trail Chicago & Minnesota for the Wild Card. Tampa & New Orleans looked pretty promising entering 2019...

NFC East
1. (#4) Dallas Cowboys (8-3)
2. (#19) Washington Redskins (5-6)
3. (#20) Philadelphia Eagles (5-6)
4. (#32) New York Giants (0-11)

The Cowboys own the East & it doesn't look like anything will be changing by season's end. Washington and Philly continue to be 9-7/7-9 teams & Eli Manning got the heck out of dodge before disaster struck, yikes New York...

NFC West
1. (#1) Arizona Cardinals (10-1)
2. (#15) Seattle Seahawks (6-5)
3. (#17) Los Angeles Rams (6-5)
4. (#22) San Francisco 49ers (4-7)

I'm honestly not surprised at all the Cards are #1 heading into Week 13. After being obliterated by them in last year's Wild Card, we truly got to see how high their ceiling was. Seattle is still a likely playoff bound team despite that 6-5 record & it's doubtful LA will keep it up till the end. San Fran continues to work on their rebuild.

Re: Bringing Lombardi Home: A Green Bay Packers Franchise (Madden 18)

Week 13 Packers (8-3) vs. Seattle Seahawks (6-5)

Pregame Thoughts: I don't care if Seattle was 11-0, 6-5, or 0-11...going out there to beat Bobby Wagner (95), Earl Thomas III (93), Kam Chancellor (92), Richard Sherman (91), on defense, and Russell Wilson (92), Jimmy Graham (93), and Thomas Rawls (89), on offense, takes an A+ game. This, by all accounts, is an NFC Championship type game & will show what we are made of, let's go Pack.

Game Result: 20-28 Loss
Game Injuries: Morgan Burnett (3 Weeks)
Game MVP: Russell Wilson (28/37, 333 yards, 3 TD)
Game Thoughts: Seattle had a pretty smart game plan heading into this one & hit us where we least expected it. It wasn't Jimmy Graham (4 catches, 39 yards) and it wasn't completely Doug Baldwin (8 catches, 98 yards, 1 TD), it was Amara Darboh (9 catches, 136 yards, 2 TD) who got to us in the end & recorded 2 scores on the day for the victory. Aaron Rodgers (29/36, 307 yards, 1 TD, 2 INT) hit 80% of his passes on the day, but still managed to get picked twice by Seattle, so it's hard to really ask more from him. Shaun Dion Hamilton (7 tackles, 1 TFL, 2.0 sacks) recorded 2 take downs on Wilson & quite honestly may win the 2019 NFC Defensive Player award.

Postgame Thoughts: I'm a firm believer in moral victories & I think today qualified as one. We showed we could compete & potentially beat Seattle, which goes a long way for the confidence that includes a huge win over Dallas as well. We get the Falcons in a few weeks to complete the three headed monster.

Week 14 Packers (8-4) vs. Chicago Bears (7-5)

Pregame Thoughts: Our 24-20 win over Chicago was a bit too close back in Week 9. We are miles beyond Chicago in terms of talent & we need to show that this week. We unfortunately lost Ty Montgomery for 4 weeks after the tough battle with Seattle, so Jamaal Williams will once again get the go ahead in the backfield.

Game Result: 38-17 Win
Game Injuries: Ty Montgomery (4 Weeks), (R) Hjalte Froholdt (3 Weeks), Morgan Burnett (2 Weeks)
Game MVP: Jamaal Williams (34 attempts, 122 yards, 1 TD)
Game Thoughts: We came, we saw, we conquered. The Bears were no match for our offensive juggernaut as Aaron Rodgers (30/41, 331 yards, 2 TD, 1 INT, 5 attempts, 25 yards, 1 TD) scored twice through the air & once on the ground in route to a 38-17 win. Jamaal Williams stepped in for Montgomery & stepped up, hitting 122 on the day with a score. Nick Perry (9 tackles, 2.0 sacks) got after Mitch Trubisky (23/33, 214 yards, 2 TD) twice. Trubisky did connect with Dante Pettis (5 catches, 44 yards, 1 TD) for a score, he's getting pretty good.

Postgame Thoughts: This was pretty much a get in & get out scenario against Chicago before we host Detroit. The victory puts us at 4-0 in the North.

Week 15 Packers (9-4) vs. Detroit Lions (7-6)

Pregame Thoughts: I knew Detroit wasn't going to roll over & die at 5-6 & they have managed to work their way back to 7-6 & are in 3nd in the North behind the 8-5 Vikings. We really have had our way with Matt Stafford (87) and the Lions so far in this CFM & the win today could potentially win us the North if Minnesota also loses.

Game Result: 44-16 Win
Game Injuries: Ha Ha Clinton-Dix (7 Weeks), Ty Montgomery (3 Weeks), (R) Hjalte Froholdt (2 Weeks), Morgan Burnett (1 Week)
Game MVP: Jamaal Williams (32 attempts, 92 yards, 3 TD, 2 catch,es 17 yards, 1 TD)
Game Thoughts: With the NFC North potentially on the line, we operated at a level that could honestly beat anyone in the NFL. Jamaal Williams punched 3 scores in on the ground & caught a TD pass from Aaron Rodgers (24/32, 291 yards, 2 TD). Kenny Clark (7 tackles, 3.0 sacks), Mike Daniels (8 tackles, 1 TFL, 2.0 sacks), Christian LaCouture (2 tackles, 1.0 sack), Nick Perry (5 tackles, 1.0 sack), and (R) Tremaine Edmunds (6 tackles, 1.0 sack), combined for EIGHT SACKS on Matt Stafford (21/31, 286 yards, 2 TD, 1 INT) in route to our 44-16 victory. Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie (4 tackles, 1 INT) also recorded a pick off Stafford.

Postgame Thoughts: Minnesota got the victory today, improving them to 9-5, which means we will get the chance to win the NFC North on the road against Atlanta. We need either a Minnesota loss or a win over Atlanta, the tie breaker goes to us based on our division record at 5-0.

Week 16 Packers (10-4) vs. Atlanta Falcons (10-4)

Pregame Thoughts: Atlanta wraps up our three headed monster of Dallas, Seattle, and the Falcons. We took down the Cowboys, had a close game with Seattle, and now get the chance to win the North by beating Matt Ryan and the Falcons. The Falcons won't have their 2x NFC Receiver of the Year, Julio Jones (99), but will have plenty of weaponry behind their 2x NFC Rusher of the Year, Devonta Freeman (97).

Game Result: 25-35 Loss
Game Injuries: Ha Ha Clinton-Dix (6 Weeks), Ty Montgomery (2 Weeks), (R) Hjalte Froholdt (1 Week)
Game MVP: Devonta Freeman (35 attempts, 172 yards, 4 catches, 27 yards, 1 TD)
Game Thoughts: The defense stepped up big, down 25-28, sacking Matt Ryan (24/33, 220 yards, 2 TD), & forcing Atlanta to punt with 1:49 left to play. On the ensuing drive, Aaron Rodgers (30/46, 255 yards, 1 TD, 2 INT) was sacked by Takkarist McKinley (3 tackles, 1.5 sacks) & subsequently INT'd by Ladarius Walters (7 tackles, 1 INT, 1 TD) on 3rd & long, returned to the house for a 10 point lead. Once again, we had the chance for a game tying, potentially game winning drive, but the INT prevented it. At first I thought it was rust from Rodgers in the passing game, but now I am more than sure our wide outs just can't break free on their routes.

Postgame Thoughts: We took the loss to Atlanta...but...MINNESOTA ALSO LOST! We are officially the 2019 NFC North Champions!!! It was another grinder late into the season for the division title, but we wrapped up our 2nd straight & are heading to the playoffs!

Week 17 Packers (10-5) vs. Minnesota Vikings (9-6)

Pregame Thoughts: I plan to be pretty cautious today due to us winning the North last week & not wanting to get any Week 17 injuries. Minnesota will likely play both Sam Bradford (81) & their rookie (R) Josh Allen (79) out of Wyoming, so we can see what he is made of.

Game Result: 34-22 Win
Game Injuries: Jordy Nelson (8 Weeks), Ha Ha Clinton-Dix (5 Weeks), Ty Montgomery (1 Week)
Game MVP: Jamaal Williams (25 attempts, 83 yards, 2 TD)
Game Thoughts: It was a pretty comfortable exhibition match against Minnesota as we took the win, 34-22. Aaron Rodgers (19/29, 227 yards, 2 TD) kept things safe & scored twice through the air, while we continued to start backup HB Jamaal Williams, who recorded 2 more TD's. The defense picked Sam Bradford (19/31, 195 yards, 2 INT) & (R) Josh Allen (15/24, 149 yards, 1 INT) three times total, one of which coming from (R) Tremaine Edmunds (9 tackles, 2 TFL, 0.5 sack, 1 INT), who pretty much sealed the deal on the NFC Defensive Rookie of the Year award!

Postgame Thoughts: 11-5 record, 6-0 in the North, playoff bound...2019 regular season, it's been real, deuces.

Bringing Lombardi Home: A Green Bay Packers Franchise (Madden 18)

Below are the final standings for the 2019 NFL Season:

AFC North
1. (#11) Pittsburgh Steelers (9-7) - Division Champions
2. (#12) Cincinnati Bengals (9-7) - Wild Card
3. (#29) Cleveland Browns (5-11)
4. (#31) Baltimore Ravens (3-13)

Things got a little close for comfort in the North with Pittsburgh picking up their 2nd straight North title at 9-7, tied with Cincinnati, but owning the head to head advantage. Pittsburgh has the #2 offense in the league & the #32 defense in the league, pretty hilarious. If their defense shows up & even makes a tackle here and there, the AFC Championship shouldn't be out of reach.

AFC South
1. (#6) Jacksonville Jaguars (11-5) - Division Champions
2. (#24) Tennessee Titans (6-10)
3. (#25) Houston Texans (6-10)
4. (#26) Indianapolis Colts (6-10)

Jacksonville claims their second South title in 3 tries & its third straight playoff appearance. The Jags era in the South only looks like it has begun which is bad news for the rest of the bunch. Tennessee doesn't look even remotely like the 2017 Super Bowl Champions & have joined Houston & Indy in the double digit loss club.

AFC East
1. (#1) New York Jets (13-2-1) - Division Champions
2. (#10) New England Patriots (9-7) - Wild Card
3. (#16) Buffalo Bills (8-8)
4. (#19) Miami Dolphins (7-8-1)

I'm still pretty shocked to see this, to be honest. Baker Mayfield and his Jetties win the AFC East on a 13-2-1 record, heading into the playoffs as the top seed in the league. Even though they hold the best regular season record, I fear New York peeked too quickly in 2019 & won't have enough in the tank to compete with the big boys like Pittsburgh & Los Angeles come the divisional.

AFC West
1. (#7) Los Angeles Chargers (10-6) - Division Champions
2. (#18) Oakland Raiders (8-8)
3. (#27) Kansas City Chiefs (5-11)
4. (#30) Denver Broncos (5-11)

The Super Bowl Champs pick up their 3rd straight AFC West title in route to a hopeful back-to-back campaign. The Chargers should be the favorite for the AFC Championship with Pittsburgh as their best competition. Oakland turned around last season's disaster of 3-13 & KC/Denver go 5-11 with their young QB's.

NFC North
1. (#5) Green Bay Packers (11-5) - Division Champions
2. (#14) Chicago Bears (9-7)
3. (#15) Minnesota Vikings (9-7)
4. (#17) Detroit Lions (8-8)

The NFC North ended up being the toughest division this season in the entire NFL. Detroit managed to go 8-8 & came in 4th, with Chicago & Minnesota barely missing the playoffs at 9-7 a piece. We take home our 2nd straight division title & look to be a serious threat for the NFC Championship.

NFC South
1. (#4) Atlanta Falcons (12-4) - Division Champions
2. (#8) Carolina Panthers (10-6) - Wild Card
3. (#23) New Orleans Saints (6-10)
4. (#28) Tampa Bay Buccaneers (5-11)

The Falcons have amassed a 36-12 record over the last 3 seasons, on their way to a third straight NFC South Championship. Matt Ryan made it to the NFC Championship in 2017, lost in the Divisional last season, and is back ready to go all the way. Carolina put the afterburners on in the final leg, going 5-1 to close out the season as a Wild Card & hit my projection right on the head.

NFC East
1. (#3) Dallas Cowboys (12-4) - Division Champions
2. (#20) Philadelphia Eagles (7-9)
3. (#21) Washington Redskins (7-9)
4. (#32) New York Giants (1-15)

The Cowboys are the favorite in the NFC, finishing 12-4 with their 2nd East title, and look to go back-to-back for the NFC Championship. Philly and Washington continue their average ways & New York has some serious Eli Manning withdrawals.

NFC West
1. (#2) Arizona Cardinals (13-3) - Division Champions
2. (#9) Seattle Seahawks (10-6) - Wild Card
3. (#13) Los Angeles Rams (9-7)
4. (#22) San Francisco 49ers (6-10)

The Cardinals went beast mode in the regular season to finish 13-3 & win the West for the 2nd time & make the playoff for the third year in a row. Mason Rudolph is the current front runner for MVP, NFC Offensive Player of the Year, and NFC Quarterback of the Year. The Cardinals have taken two, rather quick, exits in the playoffs, is this their year? Seattle is always a postseason threat as they look to make it back to the NFC Championship to avenge their loss last year to Dallas.

Bringing Lombardi Home: A Green Bay Packers Franchise (Madden 18)

Below are the individual stats for the 2019 Green Bay Packers:

Passing:
1. Aaron Rodgers (360/516, 3963 yards, 21 TD, 12 INT)
2. Taysom Hill (DNP)

Rodgers just missed his third straight 4,000+ yard season with 3963 yards, 21 TD's, and 12 INT's. He looked absolutely fantastic through the first 8 weeks of the season, but the second half wasn't he greatest outing as the majority of the INT's hailed from that. With the decline of Jordy Nelson, we are lacking a feature wide out to take center stage for Rodgers. We inked Aaron on a two year deal during the season & we are really pulling for him to meet that contract & not retire early.

Rushing:
1. Ty Montgomery (296 attempts, 1146 yards, 13 TD)
2. Jamaal Williams (160 attempts, 552 yards, 10 TD)
3. Aaron Rodgers (61 attempts, 209 yards, 5 TD)
4. Aaron Jones (21 attempts, 87 yards, 2 TD)
5. Aaron Ripkowski (3 attempts, 7 yards)

Ty Montgomery had a performance similar to his breakout season in 2017, averaging 3.9 YPC on the ground, and recording a career best, 13 TD's. Montgomery stayed healthy for the majority of the season, but still battled an abdominal tear around the early second half & missed 4 weeks. Jamaal Williams got the start in that period & came out swinging, recording 10 TD's on the ground and multiple 100+ yard performances. Rodgers ran a career best 5 TD's into the endzone. Aaron Jones came up huge when Montgomery & Williams left due to PCL sprains & was integral in a victory. Our running back core is strong & was the strength of this season's offense.

Receiving:
1. Davante Adams (75 catches, 932 yards, 4 TD)
2. Randall Cobb (61 catches, 674 yards, 2 TD)
3. Martellus Bennett (48 catches, 452 yards, 3 TD)
4. Jordy Nelson (46 catches, 623 yards, 2 TD)
5. Dorial Green-Beckham (39 catches, 457 yards, 4 TD)
6. Ty Montgomery (33 catches, 299 yards, 1 TD)
7. Richard Rodgers (27 catches, 323 yards, 4 TD)
8. Jamaal Williams (17 catches, 115 yards, 1 TD)
9. Aaron Ripkowski (7 catches, 56 yards)
10. Aaron Jones (3 catches, 14 yards)
11. Deangelo Yancey (2 catches, 15 yards)
12. Austin Van Pelt (1 catch, 2 yards)

Our receiving core has no shortage of options, problem is, the options haven't gotten better over the past few seasons. There's talk this may be Jordy Nelson's last season, which does not look fun for this core's future. Davante Adams is our current feature WR, but to be honest, I don't think he's an NFL feature receiver. Cobb recorded the second most catches & has been a reliable target for Rodgers, not so much in the redzone, however. Martellus Bennett was injured for a few weeks but still saw the third most receptions. Dorial Green-Beckham had to huge games for the Pack and at times, acted like a feature WR. He has been a great Free Agency pickup.

Top 5 Defense (Tackles):
1. Shaun Dion Hamilton (167 tackles, 8 TFL, 5.0 sacks, 1 INT, 9 DEFL)
2. (R) TJ Edwards (103 tackles, 1 TFL, 2.0 sacks, 1 INT, 7 DEFL)
3. Nick Perry (95 tackles, 8 TFL, 9.0 sacks, 2 DEFL)
4. Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie (92 tackles, 6 INT, 15 DEFL)
5. (R) Tremaine Edmunds (84 tackles, 5 TFL, 11.5 sacks, 1 INT, 1 DEFL)

The Packers defense has transformed from one of the league's worst units to one of the best. Shaun Dion Hamilton is likely on his way to an NFC Defensive Player of the Year award & things look pretty dang good for (R) Tremaine Edmunds to win the NFC Defensive Rookie of the Year award. (R) TJ Edwards is currently 2nd in the NFC Defensive Rookie of the Year voting behind his own teammate, hilarious. This crop of guys are going to be very, very good.

Top 5 Defense (Sacks):
1. (R) Tremaine Edmunds (84 tackles, 5 TFL, 11.5 sacks, 1 INT, 1 DEFL)
2. Nick Perry (95 tackles, 8 TFL, 9.0 sacks, 2 DEFL)
3. Mike Daniels (81 tackles, 5 TFL, 9.0 sacks)
4. Shaun Dion Hamilton (167 tackles, 8 TFL, 5.0 sacks, 1 INT, 9 DEFL)
5. Christian LaCouture (55 tackles, 12 TFL, 5.0 sacks)

(R) Tremaine Edmunds went off in his rookie campaign, recording a team best 11.5 sacks. Nick Perry continued to do well after his 9.5 sack performance in 2018. Mike Daniels was MIA last season after a long injury stint, 2019 was good to him as he tied Perry for 2nd best with 9.0. Hamilton & LaCouture racked up 10.0 combined, bringing our total of our top 5 to 39.5, nearly eclipsing our total of 41.5 in 2017 when Mike Daniels has 16.5 on his own. We are more spread out & better here in 2019.

Top 5 Defense (INTs):
1. Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie (92 tackles, 6 INT, 15 DEFL)
2. Kevin King (75 tackles, 1 TFL, 2.0 sacks, 3 INT, 5 DEFL)
3. (R) Tremaine Edmunds (84 tackles, 5 TFL, 11.5 sacks, 1 INT, 1 DEFL)
4. Shaun Dion Hamilton (167 tackles, 8 TFL, 5.0 sacks, 1 INT, 9 DEFL)
5. (R) TJ Edwards (103 tackles, 1 TFL, 2.0 sacks, 1 INT, 7 DEFL)

Rodgers-Cromartie filled the hole left by Brent Grimes retirement & then some. His 6 INT's are the best yet by a Packer & his 15 DEFL was amazing. Kevin King stepped up huge as Ha Ha went down for a few weeks a couple of times & was integral in an early season victory. Edmunds, Hamilton, and Edwards, all recorded picks, as well.
