I'm officially caving in and busting out a Marshall dynasty...this thread is just too tempting haha.

I’m having SO MUCH fun with Marshall. Smaller schools are way more fun than a 5 or 6 star. Let me know how it works out for you!

I agree, after starting my Notre Dame dynasty with 2 losses, I wanted a restart, so Marshall it is. Atleast it will bring back memories of when I went there, if nothing else! My skills aren't what they used to be with this game lol.

Week 7: @ North Texas
Marshall quarterback problems almost cost them the game

We started off extremely poorly, against a team who is not very good. It was 20-7 at the half. I pulled starter Chase Litton AGAIN after he started the game 3/14, 35 yds and 3 int. There’s something going on with him. Backup Jackson White came in and went just 5/12, 12 yds and 2 int before he broke his wrist late in the 3rd quarter.... great. I didn’t wanna put Litton back in. He was practically ineffective, so I put in true freshman Derrick Ross in, a former 3 star recruit. He did just enough, going 3/10 for 17 yds and a td pass. Had it not been for a solid run game and a pick six in the 3rd, we would’ve lost this game.
“I thought Derrick came in and did alright. It’s tough coming in during a close game. Luckily we were able to get the win. We need work. Lots of it. Oh, and the starter for next weeks game is up in the air right now”, said Coach Guy.
Final: 24-20, Herd
Record: 3-2
Stats:
Washington: 57 yds rushing and a td
Stewart: 38 yds rushing.
CB McClain Sapp: 6 tackles, 1 deflection, 2 int, 1 td and 1 sack
DT Ryan Bee: 3 sacks
Next Week: Vs Charlotte

Week 8: Vs Charlotte
Herd put up 42 against Charlotte

After a not so close position battle in practice between senior Chase Litton and freshman Derrick Ross, Chase earned the start against Charlotte. Needless to say, he played very well. In a bounce back game, the offense was clicking, and aside from a couple touchdowns, the defense was solid, giving us the 42-24 win.
Final: 42-24, Herd
Record: 4-2
Stats:
Litton: 230 yds, 1 td, 1 rushing td
Washington: 70 yds rushing and 3 scores
McClain-Sapp: 2 ints, 1 td
Next Week: @ Old Dominion

Recruiting Update
I currently have 5 commitments:
- One 4 star
- Three 3 stars
- One 1 star
I’ve missed out on about 5 players, which is tough. The 4 star player is a quarterback who looks very solid. Very excited about him.
