The 2017 regular season has come to a close and it saw the Washington Redskins finish was a 7-9 record which gave them in 3rd place finish in the NFC East. But the future in Washington is uncertain as Dan Snyder has sold the team to Robert Osmond. Osmond is the 25 year old son of Pennsylvania billionaires. Osmond has purchased the team from Snyder for $3.5B. Along with this change in ownership there is also a uncertain future at head coach and quarterback for this team. There is an ongoing speculation that Osmond might want to bring in his own hand picked head coach and that Jay Gruden's time with the team could becoming to an end. Also to add further uncertain to the team is star quarterback Kirk Cousin's looming free agency. All this uncertainty despite the team being only two years removed from NFC East champions back in the 2015 season.

Note: In this franchise I will not be discussing any ratings or settings. Just football and only football. I will be starting as the Redskins owner following the last week fo the 2017 regular season. I will be personally deciding on the outcomes of each playoff game and ultimately who wins the 2018 Super Bowl. I will provide a playoff recap post, a offseason recap post (containing major retiring both player and coach, coaching changes, both mine and league wide free agent signings plus my draft class), I will then start playing games and will play every game starting at the 2018 preseason, lastly I will provide league wide updates every four games (containing standings, league leaders, and weekly award winners).

Redskins Announce Massive Renovations To Be Done On Stadium

Earlier today Washington Redskins owner Robert Osmond announced that roughly $200M would go to upgrade and renovate all parts of FedEX Field and that the upgrades and renovations will be done in time for the start of the 2018 season.
