Despite both teams entering with 2 loss's, and despite having the nation's #1 passing attack, not a single sports writer has given #13 Boise State much chance to beat #7 Ohio State in this year's Rose Bowl matchup.

GAME RECAP
Boise State won the toss and elected to kick and Ohio State answers as they quickly put 7 on the scoreboard with a J. Burrow 1 yd TD toss to D. McCall (7-0) Then after a Collins INT, OSU put's 3 more with a 43 yd FG to make it (10-7). But with 49 seconds to play in the opening quarter, Collins finds #5 WR Bubba Ogebobor on a 6 yd slant to make it (10-7).
The Buckeyes would open up the 2nd Quarter with a scoring drive as M. Weber JR takes it in from 9 yds out to make it (17-7), but the Broncos answer as D. Stephens connects on a 22 yd FG to make it (17-10) and then with 21 seconds to play in the half it's Collins to Mattison from 2 yds out to tie the game (17-17)
BSU would open the 2nd half with the ball but the offensive drive is stalled as D. Stephens kicks a 26 yd FG to give the Broncos the lead. After a defensive stop the Broncos add 3 more as Stephens this time connects from 23 yds out to make it (23-17), but with 1:08 to play in the 3rd, OSU retakes the lead as Burrow connects with K. HIll on a 39 yd bomb to make it (24-23) as we head into the 4th.
Boise State opens the 4th quarter scoring as Collins finds J. Carter on a 10 yd strike. Up by 5, (29-24) BSU tries to go for 2, but the conversion fails.
With a chance to retake the lead though, Ohio State's offense stalls and they they are forced to punt with 5 minutes to play. With a 5 point lead, BSU goes to the ground game as they look to run off some clock and the strategy pays off as R. Parrish finishes off a 78 yd 3 minute drive with a 4 yd score to make it (36-24).
With a 2 score lead and just under 2 minutes to play it appeared the game was over, but Ohio State wasn't ready to give up and with 47 seconds to play they find paydirt making it (36-31). However with just 1 timeout they would need to secure the onside kick for any chance of a win.
With their hands team out there, J. Carter comes up big securing the ball and the victory..
