46 points per game is definitely the Kiffin offense. Really good to see Silas Redd dominating for you early. He was unstoppable in the older NCAAs when he was still at Penn State.
Wittek Sets School Single Game TD Record, Trojans Roll Over Eagles 59-16
Los Angeles, CA -- Sophomore QB Max Wittek had his coming out party today against Boston College as he completed 21 passes on 28 attempts for 323 yards and 6 touchdowns, setting a single game USC record.
"I've been telling you all Max has had it in him since day 1." Lane Kiffin said after the game. "He should be proud of what he did out on the field today. Hell, the whole team should be proud of what they did out there today."
Everything clicked on both sides of the ball, and the tone was set from the beginning of the game with a pick 6 thrown by BC right into Sophomore CB Kevon Seymour's hands. The defense would force three more interceptions from the BC backup QB.
From there, the Trojans rolled, scoring 35 points in the 2nd quarter, as Wittek connected to SR WR Marqise Lee 3 different times for scores. Witteck would set the record with a 19 yard touchdown pass to Victor Blackwell in the 4th quarter before the backups came in for mop-up duty.

Tailback U definitely has some studs on this roster. The schedule is going to get harder though after our second bye week, around the 2nd half of October. Hopefully the defense has really turned things around after this BC dominance!

Arizona State is coming off of a huge win over Stanford at home last week as they prepare to go up against the highest scoring team in the nation in USC. USC is coming off of a bye week, after they had played their best game of the season the week previous vs BC. USC has only been on the road once, but they look more rested. If USC QB Max Wittek has actually figured things out, then they have an actual chance against ASU. The defense has gotten leaps and bounds better as well, but ASU has a stud QB, and USC has struggled with the air game before. The experts have USC going into ASU and taking a win here, and we think whoever has the ball last will come out victorious.
USC RB Silas Redd left early in the 1st quarter and has yet to return. Meanwhile, Max Wittek has picked up the slack, and it's a shootout here in Sun Devils Stadium! #FightOn
**Update: Redd has returned to the field with 6 minutes left in the 3rd quarter. He takes his first carry 3 yards up the middle.
