Sorry for hijacking your thread but fun tidbit, members of administration from the university, including the president, meet with the tribal council monthly to make sure we’re not crossing any lines. It’s a great relationship, specially considering the university is 100% on tribal land

No, go ahead, that's completely on topic! That is so fascinating to me that it's on tribal land, I wouldn't have thought! That's the sort of thing I love about this stuff!

Floyd kicked off the football program after participation in fight

Adam Rittenberg, ESPN Senior Writer
October 10, 2013
-------------------------------------------
Mount Pleasant - Junior tight end Fred Floyd has been kicked off the team after he was reportedly a part of a fight with another student after participating in part of the festivities of Homecoming Week.

Reportedly, according to school officials, a student was talking about Floyd and "how poorly Floyd had been playing." As this student was talking about Floyd, Floyd walked by the student and overheard this conversation with the other student. Floyd started approaching the student and threw punches.

In addition, Floyd has been expelled from the university and he has reportedly been arrested by the Mount Pleasant Police. He could face up to a year in prison.

This is the second instance of Central Michigan players having trouble with the police, as Matt Lane and Brandon Cox were caught drinking-and-driving and drinking under-age.

I respect you for this whole idea knowing that you're going to use the editor to move ALL of those bowls around. I've done a few test runs making sure I can get the playoff to work, and even that is a decent chunk of work, so best of luck doing all the editing for all of these bowl games!

Rittenberg Roundup: Week 7 Preview

Adam Rittenberg, ESPN Senior Writer
October 12, 2013
-------------------------------------------
Mount Pleasant, MI - After a huge win against Ball State in overtime to stop a two-game slide, Central Michigan come home to play against the 2-4 Georgia State Panthers. Defeating Georgia State could be a huge booster for the Chips in the table, but a loss to the Panthers could bring Georgia State closer to Central Michigan.

Michael Thompson, a tackle who's looking at Central Michigan, is visiting the Chippewas for homecoming against the Panthers. If James Mitchell were to get back to his "A" game, it could be a huge boost for Thompson's decision to come to Central Michigan or not.

Project Score
Central Michigan, 44-21

The Chippewas should easily beat the Panthers, as their only good team they have faced so far, West Virginia, defeated them by more than 30 points. Central Michigan has easily played better teams than Georgia State, so it should be an easy takeout-and-wrapup for the Chips.
