Re: Back to Basics - Seattle Seahawks Madden '19 CFM

Exciting game for my Hawks in week 6. Glad to see uberstud Bobby Wagner make a big play at the end.

To the conversation of managing life without Russell, it's always interesting seeing teams rally and how they seem to play better defense with the QB down and that all-hands-on-deck mentality can be really refreshing, for instance the Redskins... That loss to the Giants notwithstanding they have totally outdone any expectations I would have had for them with Josh Johnson behind center.

Good luck moving forward, Glen

Re: Back to Basics - Seattle Seahawks Madden '19 CFM

Week 8

Detroit - The Seattle Seahawks fresh off a week off will take their division lead on the road to face off with the Detroit Lions. The Seahawks used the bye week to get back healthy, as Tyler Lockett, and Russell Wilson were full go in practice this week, and are expected to start on Sunday. Expect running back Rashaad Penny to see more and more carries as he continues to lead the RB's on the team with 5.1 yards per carry. Chris Carson was bottled up pretty good the last two games, and Penny is in line to take some more of the workload as the season moves along. The game kicks off at 10:00 am PST from Ford Field in Detroit, MI.

Re: Back to Basics - Seattle Seahawks Madden '19 CFM

Disaster in Detroit

Detroit - The Seahawks offense struggled all day against Matt Patricia's defense. Failing to score until the very end of the third quarter on a long field goal, and not finding the end zone until late as the Seahawks stumbled to a 30-20 defeat to the Lions on Sunday. Running back Chris Carson who carried the offense in Russell Wilson's absence was ineffective again this time managing only seven yards, and ended up getting benched for most of the second half. When asked about Carson's status as the starter after the game Pete Carroll said "We don't consider any one back the starter, we go with the hot hand.". That certainly doesn't seem to be Carson right now, and Rashaad Penny wasn't much better only gaining 26 yards on Sunday. This forced Russell Wilson to put up 43 attempts on Sunday, and he still looked rusty, throwing three interceptions on the day. "We did not play our best football today." Russell said after the game, "but at the end of the day you have to tip your cap to the Lions, and their defense. They had a heck of a game plan and executed it will against us. We'll have to watch the film, and see what we can fix and move forward. Next week is a new opportunity." That opportunity will come against the Los Angeles Chargers next Sunday from CenturyLink Field.

Re: Back to Basics - Seattle Seahawks Madden '19 CFM

Too bad, lost opportunity against a beatable team. Bummer that Carson is struggling but at least there are some options there, and it looks like you stuck with the run quite consistently. Was Carson also behind the safety?

I love the snap counts information you include, does the game provide that on a screen and then you just type it up or how does that work? I wish that was included in NCAA, that would really be useful.

Good luck in your next one.

Go to the box score after the game and under the Stat category "General" it has the snap counts for all the players
